Throwing a memorable birthday party for a six-year-old can be a delightful challenge, especially when the birthday girl is all about pink and makeup! Here’s how we transformed our space into a dreamy pink paradise, using creative touches and budget-friendly finds. It was a fabulous and fun day that was easy to put together.
We started with the basics: pink plastic tablecloths from the dollar store, pink paper plates, and adorable plastic stemmed glasses.
These simple items set the perfect stage for our pink make-up extravaganza. For the Centerpiece- A white vase held some leftover Mother’s day flowers in pinks and purples.
For each place setting we used little silver trays from the dollar store to hold pink and white make-up bags for each girl filled with dollar store make up and a funny face mask.
We got resourceful with our decor by reusing the balloon arch from her sister’s Frozen-themed birthday party. Originally blue, white, and purple, we simply removed some blue balloons and added pink ones.
This was a great way to keep using the balloon arch for over a month, saving both money and time.
To top it off, Emily added large lipstick Mylar balloons, a huge number 6 balloon, and other pink and sparkly decorations. It was a showstopper!
Instead of a traditional cake, we went for something unique and fun: a donut cake! We stacked big glazed donuts on a white two-tiered stand and added candles for an instant birthday cake. It was a hit with the kids and super easy to assemble.
We got creative with the snacks, turning ordinary candy into fun “makeup” treats:
My daughter used her Avery stickers to label the little bowls that held these treats. It added a personal and crafty touch to the snack table.
We had several stations set up for the girls to enjoy:
Each girl received this little makeup bag available in my shop. It was filled with goodies to take home. They had an absolute blast at each station.
To make the day even more special, each girl got a little pink bathrobe with her name on the back. My daughter used her Cricut machine and white heat transfer vinyl to create their names in a fun script. The bathrobes were a huge hit and added a personalized touch to the party.
This ultimate pink makeup party for a six-year-old was a huge success! The girls had so much fun crafting, playing with makeup, and enjoying all the pink decor.
The birthday girl was in heaven, and it was a day full of laughter and joy. With some creativity and budget-friendly finds, we put together a fabulous six-year-old’s pink makeup party that will be remembered for years to come.

Karin, this is absolutely the BEST! I'm pinning this, saving it for.when my granddaughter is a couple years older (however, she loves painting her mommy's nails now and putting on makeup with her play caboodle). Thanks for the great ideas. They're all great, amd these pictures are so cute.
OH your granddaughter will love this makeup party for sure! The giggles and fun the girls had warmed my heart. In fact she continues to put make up on herself and her little sister daily haha. Harper is actually quite good at it now and very gentle. It is so fun to see my youngest granddaughters having fun with all the girly stuff.
