Happy almost Thanksgiving everyone! I can’t wait to sink my teeth into all the yummy Thanksgiving food can you? Today on Karins Kottage Linky party highlights I am excited to share 4 fabulous bloggers and their ideas for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I might be the one and only blogger that does not put up their Christmas decorations until the day after Thanksgiving haha. Part of me wants to join in and put it all up and the other part of me wants to take it slow and relish every moment of the current holiday. I am curious to hear what all of you do? Leave me a comment and tell me if you what my husband calls Thanks-mas combing the two holidays or keep them totally separate.
I am dying over this turkey charcuterie board and domed turkey platter! Penny’s Vintage Home always has such unique items to share in her home. The wooden turkey charcuterie board is amazing all on it’s one but the domed platter is like nothing I have ever seen.
I would love to find a domed turkey platter like this!
The wooden spoon effect is sharing this gorgeous white chocolate raspberry drizzle cake! This had me with the raspberry drizzle sauce. I can almost taste it right now!
This sweet potato salad from Midlife Healthy Living looks so good and it is a weight watcher approved recipe! The sweet potato, red onion, apples and pomegranate seeds are such a favorite of mine.
This will be an awesome treat after the heavy Thanksgiving meal!
Decorative inspirations shared this easy natural Christmas tree angel. How adorable is this natural rustic charming angel.
I need a new angle on my tree so I just might be making this one!
We flew home from London last week and I have been under the weather 🙁 Everyone at home has been sick and apparently I got it from them not from traveling all over Italy and London. Go figure!
You can read about my trip in Vasto Italy in the rain here.
I have also shared my packing tips on how to pack for 17 days in a carry on to Europe in the fall.

I already have 3 trees up before Thanksgiving. I find Christmas takes a little longer to put up. I use to wait but the last few years I have jumped the gun earlier. I also use to work retail and still kinda use to doing everything way ahead.
Thank you so much for the feature of my angel and for hosting! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Love the features Karin! I don't "officially" start decorating for Christmas til Friday, but I have done a few Christmas projects already in collaborations. I also recycle old Christmas content thru this time for the blog until I start after Thanksgiving. I'm a holiday traditionalist. 🤷♀️😉. Thanks for hosting & have a fabulous Thanksgiving. XO- Maryjo
Thank for hosting! Wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving, Karin!!
We are definitely a decorate after Thanksgiving kind of family! That said this year I do have two trees up (undecorated!) because I just bought two new ones and wanted to make sure they work before we decorate them on Friday... then once I had them up I felt like it was too much work to take them down but one is in our bedroom and one is in our basement so it's not like it's in the middle of our living room where we'll be entertaining tomorrow. The first floor of the house is still very much decorated for fall. I like Thanksgiving much too much to have Christmas encroaching on it. Wishing you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving.
Thanks for hosting and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Karin, I also don’t rush early with Christmas decor. I have a rather extensive collection of Thanksgiving decorations that I enjoy for the entire month of November. Hope you have a wonderful holiday!
Thanks again for hosting this charming party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it I truly appreciate it!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie
You are not alone, Karin. Christmas comes after Thanksgiving at the Cottage! Happy Thanksgiving!
