Easy Pink & Gold Sunset Tablescape Inspiration from the Heart

I set out to create this easy pink and gold sunset tablescape inspired by gorgeous sunsets at the beach. The pinks, peach and gold colors always take my breath away. Inspired by the stunning hues of pink and gold, I found the perfect runners from Fexia on Amazon. These gauzy cheesecloth runners are simply stunning. They immediately make your table look elegant. You are going to want them in every shade!

Gauzy pink and gold table runners

The gauzy pink and gold cheesecloth runners easily drapes naturally, pooling softly at the ends without any fuss. Its sheer texture catches the light just right, adding just a touch of elegance to the table setting. It’s simple yet captivating, creating a relaxed look that’s perfect for any occasion.

I love how the runners gently wind their way down the center of the table, effortlessly intertwining as they go. This makes setting a pink and gold sunset themed tablescape easy!

My antique table has been in our family for many years now. My hubby and son in law added a new planked top over the existing table top a couple of years ago. If you missed my post about it you can see how they did it here.

I can’t begin to tell you how much we have enjoyed it!

Peachy pink peony centerpiece

To complement the sunset theme, I arranged faux peachy pink peonies and hydrangeas in a thrifted green vase. With just these elements, the table already began to take on the magic of a sunset.

Working with faux flowers is such an easy way to create a centerpiece without worrying about them wilting. Plus you can use them over and over again.

A rustic bowl to add warmth

Next, I introduced my hand-carved wooden bowl, perfect for serving freshly baked French bread. The hand carved bowls brings in a nice rustic earthy feel to the table.

You can find my hand carved wooden bowls available for purchase from my shop.

Place Settings

For the place settings, I relied on my favorite natural woven placemats, which serve me well day after day. Topped with a white dinner plate and a blush pink salad plate, they provided the perfect hue for my sunset tablescape don’t you agree?

I bought these pink plates years ago from Ikea. I have used them for spring tablescape here. The pink plates work perfectly at Christmas time too for my Sugar Plum Fairy brunch extravaganza.

Napkins Flatware and Goblets

I decided to add a little coastal flair. I used white cloth napkins cinched with starfish napkin rings.

How cute are these napkin rings!

Gold flatware and pink goblets added a touch of sparkle and sophistication. Smaller vintage cut glass cups with handles completed the look with a nostalgic charm. My sister gave me these little beauties and I adore them!

I just love the look of the amber gold mixed with pink goblets. Remember how I used the gold cup in this pirate themed tablescape?

I get such a thrill to be able to use my tablescape items throughout the year.

Coastal place cards

For the finishing touch, I created personalized place cards using large ruffled edge seashells and my trusty Cricut machine. Each guest’s name was delicately cut in a pretty cursive font, adding a personal touch to the evening.

The natural color of sea shells are a perfect match for my pink and gold sunset tablescape.

Creating memories

Creating these special moments from my heart with care and attention to detail truly brings me happiness, and I hope this guide inspires you to create your own magical memories with loved ones.

Karins Kottage

Welcome to Karins Kottage! There is always something fun going on! You would think after becoming an empty nester couple that our nest would be very quiet and empty but our Kottage nest is usually more full than what we started out with! You might find me hosting a birthday party or graduation party and a baby shower on the same weekend or a big outdoor get together with 25 of our friends and family in the backyard or maybe I might be in the kitchen trying out a new recipe for my hubby and I to grill on the BBQ for a quiet night for the two of us. I am passionate about entertaining and setting a beautiful table! I may or may not have an addiction to cloth napkins and fun salad plates oh and goblets too! I think I will always have a home decorating DIY project in the works as long as my hubby is on board with me haha. We have painted A LOT in the 6 homes we have owned in the 35 years that we have been married as well as re-done multiple pieces of furniture, added wall and ceiling treatments, replaced lights, bathroom fixtures and even tiled floors! I have sewn what seems like a million window treatments for our home as well as for family, made slipcovers, and duvets and even a formal dress or two!
