Karins Kottage Linky Party- Easter Colors

Last week you all shared the most adorable Easter ideas. This linky party is filled with my favorite Easter colors pinks, blues, greens and yellows joyful and fun! Don’t you have the best memories of Easter being a kid? Dying eggs, Pretty Easter dresses with patent leather shoes and maybe even a little white hat? I have very sweet memories of this time in my life.

I am highlighting four bloggers from last weeks linky party that have shared some really cute Easter food ideas and a pretty Easter tablescape.

Karins Kottage Linky Party HIghlights

How cute are these rainbow jello pie Easter bunny parfait in a jar recipe from Hunny I’m Home DIY. $ different flavors of jello, whipped cream and cool whip topped with a peep! So cute and fun to eat for the grandkids.

3 boys and dog created this perfect bunny cake! The best part is that it is actually made from cupcakes! How simple is that. I love the face on this bunny cake.

You don’t have to be a master baker to make this cake says Must Have Mom. Jello and whipping cream create the pastel cloud layers in between the cake layers. Such a pretty spring cake that is perfect for Easter, Mother’s day or any spring time celebration.

Dining delight has put together the most perfect Easter tablescape. All of the best Easter colors are displayed on the table. I am in love with her pretty floral plates, turquiose goblets and the soft pinky peach chiffon table runner. I want to be at Dining Delight’s house for Easter!

Karins Kottage

Welcome to Karins Kottage! There is always something fun going on! You would think after becoming an empty nester couple that our nest would be very quiet and empty but our Kottage nest is usually more full than what we started out with! You might find me hosting a birthday party or graduation party and a baby shower on the same weekend or a big outdoor get together with 25 of our friends and family in the backyard or maybe I might be in the kitchen trying out a new recipe for my hubby and I to grill on the BBQ for a quiet night for the two of us. I am passionate about entertaining and setting a beautiful table! I may or may not have an addiction to cloth napkins and fun salad plates oh and goblets too! I think I will always have a home decorating DIY project in the works as long as my hubby is on board with me haha. We have painted A LOT in the 6 homes we have owned in the 35 years that we have been married as well as re-done multiple pieces of furniture, added wall and ceiling treatments, replaced lights, bathroom fixtures and even tiled floors! I have sewn what seems like a million window treatments for our home as well as for family, made slipcovers, and duvets and even a formal dress or two!

  • Karin, we missed your creativity on the blog hop, but it's nice that you linked a couple of your own here on the party today. Lori's tables are consistently beautiful, and this one you've featured is gorgeous! Thanks for hosting. I know you're super busy. Happy Spring, and safe travels.

  • Karin,

  • Oh yes! I just LOVE dying Easter eggs and kept trying to get my boys to do them with me... but they never did agree once they reached a certain age.

    • Yep they get to a certain age and then they don't like to do these fun things any more. I still love to do it...brings back memories for me :)

  • Seems like we always had to cover up our pretty little dresses with a heavy winter coat! Still wonderful memories. Thanks for having us over.

  • Thank you so much Karin for featuring my Easter Tablescape! I am very flattered and honoured! Your pretty tablescape looks wonderful! I need to get out my sewing machine, there are so many lovely fabric pattern out there. Happy Spring! ~ Lori
