Check out my black and white kitchen re-do! This is my kitchen before I painted it….. The cupboards were a medium oak color and some of the cupboards were already painted black.
To lighten up the room ..I decided to paint all the Oak sections white as well as the kitchen island and it turned out fabulous!
I love it so much because now it is light and bright.
It is amazing what a little elbow grease and paint can do.
Here is a turtorial for a faux roman shade that I wish I would have done.
I hope you enjoyed this black and white kitchen re-do and I would love to hear your comments.
My daughter used chalkpaint to do a quick fix on her countertops and it turned out so pretty! The countertops now look like soapstone counters!

Your kitchen really looks great! Before this last kitchen makeover I had painted my cabinets white also, now they're a cream color. I love the look of painted cabinets!
Thank you for you very kind comment on my blog and the well wishes!
