Welcome to this week’s Linky Party at Karins Kottage: Fall fun and Halloween Delights! I’m so happy you’re here, and as always, I’ve chosen four creative bloggers to highlight and share their inspiring posts with you. They’ve really brought the spirit of fall and Halloween to life! Let’s dive in and explore these beautiful projects together.
Debra from Common Ground has totally nailed that cozy fall feeling with her front porch décor! Picture super cute plaid pillows, vibrant mums, and gourd arrangements that say, “Welcome, autumn!” Her cottage-style front porch is all about warmth and comfort, perfect for welcoming guests this season.
Looking for some spooky snacks that are quick and easy? Cecilia from My Thrift Store Addiction has you covered with three adorable no-bake Halloween treats. Her banana ghosts are the cutest little bites – so fun to make and even more fun to eat! These treats are perfect for last-minute Halloween celebrations.
Want to add a spooky touch to your Halloween décor? Morgan from Charleston Crafted has shared an easy DIY tutorial on how to make bent ghost taper candles. By warming the wax in hot water, you can create eerie, ghostly shapes, then use a paint pen to draw on the faces. It’s a super simple project that will add a creepy charm to your home.
If you’re planning a festive Halloween breakfast, you need to check out Ann’s Monster Waffles. These buttermilk waffles are made spooky with bloody syrup – a fun and delicious way to kick off Halloween morning! They’re both playful and tasty, and kids will love them.
Before we get to this week’s link-up, I just want to say how incredibly grateful I am for this community of amazing friends. You have all shown me so much love through your prayers and messages. It truly lifts my spirits as I navigate this journey through cancer.
My faith in Christ is my anchor, and one scripture that I hold dear is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” I continue to pray and trust in His plan, and I know that the Lord works through others to bring to pass his tender mercies. Thank you Thank you for being one my many angels.
We had a lovely weekend where I hosted a dinner for 8 of my dear friends in the backyard. It was such a joy to focus on good food and great company. We grilled chicken thighs and salmon, served roasted herb potatoes and a delicious tomato tart with a pine nut crust.
For dessert, my daughter and granddaughter made an incredible chocolate cake with butter and Nutella frosting—pure heaven!
Now, let’s get to the party! I can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on. Thank you for your continued support and for being part of this beautiful community.

Until next week, happy creating and decorating!
