Karins Kottage Linky Party

Karins Kottage Wednesday Linky Party

Welcome to Karins Kottage Wednesday LInky party otherwise known as Centerpiece Wednesday Linky party.

I mean why not name this linky party after my blog name?

Right?

Last week there were so many great blog posts to choose from!

This week I chose a wonderful homemade pasta recipe, a gorgeous moody tablescape, a fall home tour with another beautiful tablescape and a homemade crate full of pretty crocheted pumpkins!

Liz over at Howling at the moon, is sharing not only these beautiful crocheted pumpkins in gorgeous colors but also this handmade wooden crate that her young daughter made!

Her young daughter is still in elementary school!

Creativity at its best!

Have you checked out my Pumpkin crafts yet?

This fall tour over at My Hubbard home has so many yummy details! Rachelle has such an eye for decorating and has really put together some stunning ideas using fall colors.

I am in love with this place setting but wait until you see all the areas in her home!

After traveling in Italy and taking pasta cooking classes this post from The Happy Mustard seed blog has my heart!

I love that she makes the pasta without using a machine!

Using rolling pin and a pizza cutter!

Dining Delight is sharing this really pretty moody fall tablescape using black, copper, gold and orange!

I am ga ga over it!

Look at those hammered copper mugs and vase!

What is happening here at the Kottage lately

I am so glad you asked 😉

More traveling! I just got back from Southern Utah visiting my mom and step dad.

It was beautiful weather down there.

This is cedar canyon and it is so beautiful right now with all the fall leaves against the red rocks.

My mom has the most amazing talent of making any indoor or outdoor space just beautiful! Her yard is truly a oasis in the desert!

Mom designed the entire backyard and with the help of a gardener created this yard that looks like something from Italy or France!

Lots of unique areas with little vignettes.

Last week I decorated my kitchen nook for Halloween and I love how it looks.

I also shared how to style a fall swing top that I think you will love.

Karins Kottage

Welcome to Karins Kottage! There is always something fun going on! You would think after becoming an empty nester couple that our nest would be very quiet and empty but our Kottage nest is usually more full than what we started out with! You might find me hosting a birthday party or graduation party and a baby shower on the same weekend or a big outdoor get together with 25 of our friends and family in the backyard or maybe I might be in the kitchen trying out a new recipe for my hubby and I to grill on the BBQ for a quiet night for the two of us. I am passionate about entertaining and setting a beautiful table! I may or may not have an addiction to cloth napkins and fun salad plates oh and goblets too! I think I will always have a home decorating DIY project in the works as long as my hubby is on board with me haha. We have painted A LOT in the 6 homes we have owned in the 35 years that we have been married as well as re-done multiple pieces of furniture, added wall and ceiling treatments, replaced lights, bathroom fixtures and even tiled floors! I have sewn what seems like a million window treatments for our home as well as for family, made slipcovers, and duvets and even a formal dress or two!

  • I've heard so many great things about Utah landscape, but have never been. Some friends of ours had a glamping trip in southern Utah and also visited St. George; they said it was beautiful! Thanks for hosting and sharing your travels!

  • So many fun links to dive into this week, Karin! I love all the features you chose and your Mom's gardens are beautiful! That view is amazing! Thanks so much for hosting. I hope your week is a special one, CoCo

  • I've always wanted to try making my own pasta but was not going to bother buying a pasta maker for it.

  • Thanks for hosting, Karin! So many great trips you've been taking! Have a great rest of your week!
