Well hello my friends welcome to Centerpiece Wednesday Linky party #225! I hope you all enjoyed your Memorial Day weekend! I sure did! We got a lot done around the house and hosted a big family and friends lake day and BBQ a the Kottage. It was a blast!
So many fabulous tablescapes, home tours and recipes from last week. I can’t wait to share which ones stood out to me!
Before I share the highlights from last weeks Centerpiece Wednesday here is what I have been up to. My hubby and I were busy on Friday! He was re-painting the pergola and I was sewing new cushions for my patio chairs and I also bought some new cushion covers!
I don’t know about you but the sun just bleaches out my cushions so quickly! You can’t really tell from these photos but the pillows are really faded from when we first bought them.
I found these fabulous solid color cushion covers on Amazon in lots of different colors and bought some to basically slipcover my faded pillows!
They were $11.99 for two!
The aqua colored covers are a bit too big for the pillows I put in them but I will add more fluff and they will be perfect!
The pillow covers and a new rug from At Home made a huge difference!
I also made some new covers for my outdoor dining chairs in Navy and white Striped canvas.
You might remember seeing this fabric at my daughters reception, I made all the runners for the tables.
Do you see the wood table in the photo? My hubby actually added wood planks over the metal table. He did it the same way he did our dining table here.
Gosh we had so much food and family for our Memorial Day BBQ! I think there were 20 of us!
I made my favorite dessert! Ina Garten’s apple crostata. OH it is so good! You can find the recipe here.
Everyone enjoyed some lake time and paddle boarding. A fun idea is to use a paddle board as a table for an outdoor party like I did for this lake party.
Ok enough about me let me share what stood out to me from last weeks party! Ladies you are all seriously so amazing…I know I say that all the time but it is sooooo true!
Okay I am sure we can all agree that this centerpiece and the entire tablescape has got to be the most amazing feat by two bloggers Barbara at Mantle and Table and Renae at Peacock Ridge!
Actually three bloggers were involved because Leslie over at Feed under my table did the food for this spectacular citrus tablescape.
Rachelle over on My Hubbard Home is sharing her summer home tour with yellow and grey accent decor and it is just beautiful! Her scheme is just says sunshine and happy days to me.
Who loves a good quiche recipe? This one from Organized island not only sounds amazing but looks so pretty!
It is filled with long asparagus spears, tomatoes, green onions and cream. Heavenly!
I love how she kept the asparagus long and did not chop them up.
Deb Beez Buzz is sharing this amazing Bee themed tablescape!
Everything from the glassware, flatware, dishes, napkin rings down to the place card all have the darling bee theme!
You just have to go see it!
I hope you enjoy popping over here each week as much as I love having you! I do share my party on all my social media and would love it if you would too! The more we share the more eyes see all the hard work each of you do!
As we get older, taking extra care of your eyes is essential. Macular degeneration is…

Appreciate your hosting every week - great features! Hope you like the recipes I linked up this week.
Thanks so much Karin and Happy June!
Karin, we love your state's national parks and hope to travel there again soon (after the post COVID crowds die down), but in the meantime we're excited one of our favorite day trips here in WV has just been named our nation's 63rd national park - New River Gorge. It's part of my traveling tote recap this week. Thanks for hosting us.
Karin, thank you for featuring my bee theme tablescape! It’s very much appreciated! How wonderful to have a bash at your lovely and well-cared for home. It looks like I was an amazing time. Ours was a quiet one, but great having my elderly mom here. We also celebrated my great aunt’s 100th birthday — she’s the daughter of my French great grandparents who inspired the bee theme table.
Thanks for hosting, Karin! Love the pretty pillow updates!! Have a great rest of your week!
Thanks for hosting the party.
I love crostata and look forward to making one with fresh berries. Isn't it great to be with loved ones again?
Thanks for hosting!
