Well we have arrived at the end of the year and this will be the last Centerpiece Wednesday Linky party for 2020! This party return after the New year on Wednesday January 6th. I can’t wait to see what you will be sharing this week as well as for the New Year!

Latest happenings on the blog

Our ugly Sweater Christmas with the Kranks Party! We had so much fun with our daughters and their families! Mike and I dressed up as Nora and Luther Krank from the movie Christmas with the Kranks. You won’t believe what one of our daughter’s did you will have to read what happened at our party here!

Linky Party Highlights

I am so excited to share what these four bloggers have been up to. Look at this stunning wreath from Dear Casa! This is made with a coat hanger and shatterproof ornaments. She explains it all in only 8 steps! I am loving this look so much! The mirror it is hanging on is so pretty too!

Julie over at My Wee Abode shares how to make this adorable mercury ornament garland. Julie gives really good directions on how to tie these on and using a bit of glue to make sure they don’t wiggle around. Mercury glass antique looking ornaments are so beautiful don’t you agree?

I think I need to make one to go in my Sugar Plum Fairy Dining room!

Look what Country Road 407 came up with to decorate her dining room table with her leftover Christmas decor! The best part of this was the fact that this has become her favorite look! I love her plaid plates, napkins and the darling antler napkin rings!

Have you had a chance to check out my buffalo checked tablescape that I did this year?

Living on Cloud Nine created this fun festive table in red white and green. The little white houses on each plate are so cute surrounded by faux green wreaths that she made. The red and white striped napkins are just a favorite! I need to order some….every year I see these and I never seem to get some for myself. I think they would look so cute on my red and lime Christmas tablescape.

Karins Kottage

Welcome to Karins Kottage! There is always something fun going on! You would think after becoming an empty nester couple that our nest would be very quiet and empty but our Kottage nest is usually more full than what we started out with! You might find me hosting a birthday party or graduation party and a baby shower on the same weekend or a big outdoor get together with 25 of our friends and family in the backyard or maybe I might be in the kitchen trying out a new recipe for my hubby and I to grill on the BBQ for a quiet night for the two of us. I am passionate about entertaining and setting a beautiful table! I may or may not have an addiction to cloth napkins and fun salad plates oh and goblets too! I think I will always have a home decorating DIY project in the works as long as my hubby is on board with me haha. We have painted A LOT in the 6 homes we have owned in the 35 years that we have been married as well as re-done multiple pieces of furniture, added wall and ceiling treatments, replaced lights, bathroom fixtures and even tiled floors! I have sewn what seems like a million window treatments for our home as well as for family, made slipcovers, and duvets and even a formal dress or two!
