Wild Kratts Birthday Party

Wild Kratts Birthday Party with a jungle theme!
There is so much to show you!!
There is multiple posts about this fun Wild Kratts birthday that we did for my grandson and his friends and they all had the best time ever! All thanks to his sweet momma, Aunt and grandma 🙂 They Rock!

Setting the Wild Kratts birthday party table

My daughter set the table starting with a bamboo runner, some house plants and cups with live grass to make it feel jungly. Each place setting had zebra striped plates, cheetah napkins, giraffe paper cups with black and white striped straws and black plastic silverware..sooo cool! Which makes for such easy clean up!
If you need party invitations or birthday cards, you can make some on sites like Shutterfly.
Above the table we used crepe paper that we cut slits into to give it some texture….crepe paper is such a great way to get a lot bang for your little buck! The awesome animal paper lanterns are from Amazon..links below. The big brown twisted looking vine was made from left over packing paper!
I told my daughter now that the party is over… she needs to have a jungle BBQ in the backyard and invite some friends over and hang these from the trees in the yard!

Wild Kratts Tortuga Cake

Do you see that adorable Tortuga cake!! My daughter Emily made this Wild Kratts turtle cake especially for Calvin! You can see the tutorial for the Tortuga cake here. Emily made it the night before baking it in a dome shaped bowl and used cupcakes for the head and the feet! It is very fun to make your own turtle cake.
Look at the cool snakes we found at the dollar store!!
The kids were in heaven!

Wild Kratts Birthday Party Extra details

So many cool things to look at and enjoy…gummy candies from the dollar store in the shapes of turtles and frogs were strewn around the table.
We also found these battery operated lights in the shape of dragon flies from Amazon…Link below! They are really cool!
We filled these super cool palm tree box containers with candies for the kids!
I just love how cute these animal plates, cups and napkins are!

Wild Kratts Party Gifts

We found these bug catchers in lots of colors at the dollar store (I don’t know if they still carry them but I have a link for some similar ones on Amazon at the bottom of the post)…they were perfect for the bug collecting game. They made the cutest gifts for the party guests too!
All the other games we played are here on this post the kids had so much fun!
Here is the birthday boy wearing his Creature Power Suit that his mother and
I made and not just for him but for all the kids!
Yes we were very busy!!

Wild Kratts Cheetah Race Game

Karins Kottage

Welcome to Karins Kottage! There is always something fun going on! You would think after becoming an empty nester couple that our nest would be very quiet and empty but our Kottage nest is usually more full than what we started out with! You might find me hosting a birthday party or graduation party and a baby shower on the same weekend or a big outdoor get together with 25 of our friends and family in the backyard or maybe I might be in the kitchen trying out a new recipe for my hubby and I to grill on the BBQ for a quiet night for the two of us. I am passionate about entertaining and setting a beautiful table! I may or may not have an addiction to cloth napkins and fun salad plates oh and goblets too! I think I will always have a home decorating DIY project in the works as long as my hubby is on board with me haha. We have painted A LOT in the 6 homes we have owned in the 35 years that we have been married as well as re-done multiple pieces of furniture, added wall and ceiling treatments, replaced lights, bathroom fixtures and even tiled floors! I have sewn what seems like a million window treatments for our home as well as for family, made slipcovers, and duvets and even a formal dress or two!

  • Oh my goodness Karin, this party was absolutely adorable --- and wild lol! Loved it. Pinned for when I hope to have grandkids someday!

My youngest (now an adult) wanted to be a zoo keeper since he could talk and I created several theme birthday parties around the zoo, safari, elephants and more. Way, way back when! A couple of months ago I shared a post about his safari theme bedroom that I've transitioned into a guest room https://debbeesbuzz.com/safari-theme-transitions-kid-guest-bedroom/

  • Awesome party! Did you ever make a post about how you made the creature power suits? I am having trouble finding it. My son really wants me to make them for his party. Thanks!

  • Hi!
