Hello my friends and welcome to Karins Kottage Linky Party September 2!! Fall is coming and I am super excited and happy about it. So fun to see and get inspired from all your ideas. A yummy fresh apple cake recipe, Halloween and fall crafts and a great fall sunflower tablescape.
DIY Paper bag fall leaf branches is such a great idea using a paper bag! Charleston Crafted used a black marker to draw leaf shapes and then cut them out and hot glued them on to some branches. It took her only 10 minutes to create this fabulous fall decoration.
I have a fun paper sack witch hat that I made from a paper bag here.
An organized season took a dollar store bat and turned it into a pottery barn look alike! So brilliant using black twine! Don’t you love knock off projects?
Treat N Trick is sharing a fresh apple cake recipe. I love love apple cake and i can’t wait to try this recipe. Chunks of apple always make the cake super moist and delicious! What is fall season without a good apple cake recipe.
Easing into fall with a fun sunflower tablescape! The painted apron always has some fun ideas for each season. Sunflowers mixed with black and white checked dishes is just the best way to ease into fall. Make sure to pop over to her blog to see all her details.
Our family went downtown to Salt Lake City to walk around and see the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints Salt Lake City temple under construction. It is amazing to see all the work that is being done to fortify the foundation of this beautiful special building. I can’t wait to see it when it is completed.
I made a really yummy peach crisp for two the other night. The recipe will be posted tomorrow. I just love a crust made with oatmeal, butter and cinnamon!
Last night we headed up the canyon with family and had a yummy picnic in including s’mores of course. The grandkids just loved being up in nature as we all did.
Ok my friends link up some fun fall decor, crafting and recipes. Are any of you seeing fall leaves yet? I just love seeing fall pics of other areas across the country. We don’t have any changes yet but I know its coming 🙂
