Apple Pies, Fall Decor, and DIY Ghosts – Karins Kottage Linky Party Highlights

Apple Pies, Fall Decor and DY Ghosts! Welcome back to this week’s Karins Kottage Linky Party, where we celebrate the most creative, inspiring, and fun ideas from around the blogosphere! I’ve gathered some incredible highlights this week, from delicious apple pie recipes to festive fall décor and spooky DIY projects. Let’s dive in!

1. Claire Justine’s Apple Pie Recipes – Just Like Grandma Used to Make!

First up, we have Claire Justine and her nostalgic collection of three apple pie recipes that will bring back memories of grandma’s kitchen. If you’re looking for some comforting fall desserts, these are a must-try!

  • Spiced Apple and Ginger Pie – Warm, cozy, and full of spice!
  • Butterscotch Apple Pie – A sweet twist on a classic.
  • Apple of Your Eye Pie – A delightful recipe that will make everyone swoon.

You can grab all the recipes here.

2. Blue and White Fall Decorating Ideas from Calypso in the Country

Shelley from Calypso in the Country is shaking things up with her gorgeous blue and white fall decorating ideas. While blue and white are non-traditional fall colors, Shelley expertly blends them with natural elements to create a chic, seasonal look. If you’re looking for fall décor inspiration that’s a little outside the box, this is perfect for you!

Check out her beautiful fall styling here.

3. Pottery Barn-Inspired DIY Ghost from An Organized Season

It’s spooky season! An Organized Season has a fun and budget-friendly DIY project that transforms a Dollar Tree ghost into a Pottery Barn-inspired light-up ghost. It’s a simple yet impactful way to bring a bit of haunting charm to your front yard.

Find the step-by-step tutorial here and get ready to wow the neighborhood.

4. Life Is Better by the Lake – Fall Tablescape and Sporty Skeletons!

Life Is Better by the Lake brings us double the fun this week with a stunning fall tablescape and some super creative skeleton yard scenes! I’m especially in love with the skeletons dressed up in baseball uniforms – such a clever idea to give your outdoor space a playful, spooky touch.

Don’t miss out on these fabulous scenes here!

Karins Kottage Happenings

In case you missed my last fashion post I am sharing my favorite high-waisted cargo utility pants from Old Navy. They are on sale right now too!

Last year I did a really fun pink and black Halloween Western Barbie tablescape.

This is one of my favorite pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe that you must make this season!

Karins Kottage

Welcome to Karins Kottage! There is always something fun going on! You would think after becoming an empty nester couple that our nest would be very quiet and empty but our Kottage nest is usually more full than what we started out with! You might find me hosting a birthday party or graduation party and a baby shower on the same weekend or a big outdoor get together with 25 of our friends and family in the backyard or maybe I might be in the kitchen trying out a new recipe for my hubby and I to grill on the BBQ for a quiet night for the two of us. I am passionate about entertaining and setting a beautiful table! I may or may not have an addiction to cloth napkins and fun salad plates oh and goblets too! I think I will always have a home decorating DIY project in the works as long as my hubby is on board with me haha. We have painted A LOT in the 6 homes we have owned in the 35 years that we have been married as well as re-done multiple pieces of furniture, added wall and ceiling treatments, replaced lights, bathroom fixtures and even tiled floors! I have sewn what seems like a million window treatments for our home as well as for family, made slipcovers, and duvets and even a formal dress or two!
