While traveling in Alberobello Italy last October I styled my log white linen top and pink outfit easily. Linen is a must when you are in Italy all through spring, summer and in to fall. It is breathable, keeps you cool and oh so comfortable to wear. Linen does wrinkle but I think that it just gives it that European relaxed feel and it is totally acceptable.
I bought this long white linen top a couple of years ago from Arte Italica. They have a huge selection of beautiful linen clothes for women that you will flip over! This is not a sponsored post I just really like their clothes.
As long as I can remember I have always loved linen. Over the years I have owned many different pieces of linen clothing. One of which was a natural colored linen jacket and I wore it to death.
I adore the big bell sleeves on this long white linen top. The bell sleeves make so feminine don’t you agree The great thing about this type of long linen top is that you can also wear it as a bathing suit cover up!
Check out my hubby in his awesome Italian straw hat and sunglasses. He looks very Italian doesn’t he! 🙂
Can we talk about Alberobello! It is so unique and picturesque with Trulli houses, delicious food, rich history, and stunning countryside views. All the little Trulli houses are white with cone shaped rock roofs. It is like you stepped into a gnome or fairy village.
Linen is a super strong fabric and washes up really well. Stains come out easily too.
You can iron it or have it dry cleaned.
Linen is also great when made into napkins. Arte Italica has some gorgeous striped linen napkins that I used on this romantic tablescape. You can see all the details of this outdoor tablescape here.
You know if you have been following me for any length of time that I love bright colors. These pink pants are just so fun to wear because they are flared, cropped and have a raw edge hem.
Casual and stylish in a comfy way.
I bought these in Casoli, Italy and I just love them! I can’t wait for spring to be here! As I write this it is snowing again!
The little walking streets in Alberobello are filled with potted flowers and bicycles decorated with flowers and lights.
In fact you see a lot of bicycles decked out like this all over Italy.
I am obsessed with the bikes on display. They are so dang cute!
It gets a little chilly in the evenings so I always bring a scarf in my bag. I found this beautiful linen blue scarf there in a cute little shop in Alberobello.
There are oodles and oodles of darling shops inside the Trulli houses. If you get a chance to go Puglia you MUST go to Alberobello.

Emma you really need to go to Puglia! It is one magical place for so many reasons. Alberobello is just one of the towns in Puglia. The little what I like to call gnome houses are amazing to see. The entire town is like something out of a movie. So charming and unique. My white linen tunic was so perfect while walking the streets of Italy. Thanks for stopping by and saying hi!
