I have been making herb butter, Cranberry orange butter and orange cinnamon butter to give as neighbor gifts this year. I am so happy with how they have turned out. I didn’t have to bake a million cookies and I was looking for something savory and unique and this was the perfect thing!
The herb and cranberry orange butter are just about the easiest things to make in your Cuisinart
I used 4 sticks at once in my Cuisinart mixed with fresh herbs. I used a bunch of fresh herbs. Thyme, basil, rosemary, parsley and sage. You can use whatever combination you like. You can’t go wrong with fresh herbs of any combination.
it was approximately a half cup of fresh herbs before i chopped them all up. A pinch of kosher salt and 1/2 tsp beer can chicken seasoning.
For the Orange cinnamon butter I used 4 sticks of butter, about 1/2 cup fresh cranberries, zest of 2 small oranges, squeeze the juice of one small orange, 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon and a pinch of salt Using the Cuisinart I pulsed all ingredients until it was completely mixed. .
You can watch my video of how to make the perfect sized little butter logs and watch until the end and see my blooper reel.
The tags and baking twine just finish the cute butter logs off perfectly. You can find these super cute gift tags on Lia Griffith blog she has sooo many cute things to download and print at home you really should check out her blog! These tags are on a PDF that allows you to change the names on the to and from!! They are hosted on worldready to edit and print off from a PDF file how nice is that!
