This is a significant week for me as Iām heading into my amputation surgery. While Iāve felt fairly calm most days, Iām incredibly thankful for the many prayers sent my way. Today, Iām going for a lymphoscintigraphy, where a radioactive tracer will be injected into my finger to check for any melanoma spread. The test helps track how things are going, and while Iām definitely nervous,
Iām keeping my sense of humor intact. Iām adding āfinger-tip ectomyā to my long list of surgeries!
Iāll keep this linky party up for two weeks just in case I need some extra recovery time. Thank you all for your continued support, love, and prayers. Iāll keep you updated as I go through this journey.
Sending much love and appreciation,
Karin

Karin,
Thank you for the feature! I can't imagine how you feel or what you are going through. I will be sending tons of prayers your way. I saw you saw your finger for the first time. I would have never seen this coming either. I probably would still think it's nothing. Thank goodness you went when you did.
Karin, sending prayers for a fast recovery and healing! Thanks for hosting!
Thanks so much for hosting!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are enjoying your week and you are doing well...

Karin, wow, what a shock to receive news of cancer after thinking it was something, nothing at all. I feel pretty certain most of us would have thought as you did before the official diagnosis - a wart, etc. I went back and read the back story. I most definitely will keep you in my prayers for a clean report after the surgery (which you should now be 1 day post). The humor and positive attitude are definite pluses!
Rita, It has been crazy to say the least. Who would've thought you could have cancer in your fingernail and that it would be an aggressive melanoma! I still don't have results from my lymph node biopsy so we are hoping and praying for good news.
Wishing you the best of luck with your surgery and pre-surgery testing!!
Sending prayers for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery! You've got this! I appreciate all the work that goes into this party! Thanks for hosting and featuring my pumpkin basket!
Praying & thinking about you Karin. Hoping for an uneventful experience and a soft recovery. Stay well friend. XO- MaryJo
