5 Stylish Ways to Wear Brown Wide-Leg Pants This Fall

I recently found the cutest brown wide-leg pants at The Nest Style and Design, a local boutique in my neighborhood, and they are on sale for just $15! They were originally $54! I had to share how adorable and versatile they are, especially with fall approaching. These pants can be styled in so many fun ways, and I’m excited to show you five looks to take you from casual weekends to elegant evenings out.

1. Elegant Elegant Brown Wide-Leg Pants Outfit

For a chic and timeless look, I styled the brown wide-leg pants with a black-and-white skinny stripe t-shirt and a black double-breasted blazer.

A slim black belt with a gold buckle adds structure, and black kitten-heeled pumps keep it sophisticated.

To complete the ensemble, I added a small black purse with a gold chain, creating the perfect polished look for a work meeting or dinner out.

2. Soft and Pretty Brown Wide-Leg Pants Outfit

For a softer, more feminine vibe, I paired the pants with my pink flutter-sleeve top. The light, fluttery sleeves create a delicate look, and I matched the outfit with pink suede shoes that go perfectly with the top.

I’ve had this top for quite a while, and it’s great for pairing with skirts or pants. (I’ve also styled it with a flowy pink floral skirt in this post.)

For a night out, I’d drape a black blazer over my shoulders. Then I will wear it later as the evening cools down.

3. Casual and Cool with Denim

For a more laid-back outfit, bring on the denim! I wore a lightweight denim button-down from J.Crew Factory. Left untucked with the sleeves slightly rolled up for a relaxed, casual look.

White leather sneakers add to the easy-going vibe. I tied a striped sweater around my neck for a bit of texture.

To top it off, I added a fun leather bucket hat, making this outfit perfect for a blustery fall day out and about.

4. Classic Layers Brown Wide-Leg Pants Outfit

For this outfit, I went with a classic white t-shirt underneath a creamy knitted vest.

While this is a new look for me, I love trying fresh combinations! I’m still deciding if I prefer it with a turtleneck instead of a t-shirt, but either way, it’s fun to experiment.

I wore a gold chain necklace with clear beading from J.Crew that I’ve had for a while, and it added just the right touch of elegance to the outfit.

5. Striped Sweater Chic

For my final look, I styled the striped sweater from outfit #3 without a collared shirt underneath.

I gave the sweater a slight tuck into the waistband of the brown pants to define my waist, and I threw on a full-length trench raincoat for a sleek, elongated silhouette.

Paired with white sneakers, this outfit is a perfect blend of casual and chic, ideal for a rainy fall day!

I love pushing the limits of my wardrobe and trying new styling ideas, especially with such versatile pieces. Let me know which outfit was your favorite, and stay tuned for even more ways to style these fun brown pants! Remember, fashion should be fun—no matter your age.

Karins Kottage

Welcome to Karins Kottage! There is always something fun going on! You would think after becoming an empty nester couple that our nest would be very quiet and empty but our Kottage nest is usually more full than what we started out with! You might find me hosting a birthday party or graduation party and a baby shower on the same weekend or a big outdoor get together with 25 of our friends and family in the backyard or maybe I might be in the kitchen trying out a new recipe for my hubby and I to grill on the BBQ for a quiet night for the two of us. I am passionate about entertaining and setting a beautiful table! I may or may not have an addiction to cloth napkins and fun salad plates oh and goblets too! I think I will always have a home decorating DIY project in the works as long as my hubby is on board with me haha. We have painted A LOT in the 6 homes we have owned in the 35 years that we have been married as well as re-done multiple pieces of furniture, added wall and ceiling treatments, replaced lights, bathroom fixtures and even tiled floors! I have sewn what seems like a million window treatments for our home as well as for family, made slipcovers, and duvets and even a formal dress or two!
