Setting the Scene of how to serve Leftover Pork Tacos
For a fun and festive tablescape, I used orange napkins placed on woven placemats, under my favorite oval-shaped white dinner plates (a lovely gift from my mom – they’re super heavy and add a touch of elegance). To add a pop of color, I chose pink and orange napkins with bright beaded napkin rings.
For drinks, my blue glasses from Ikea were just perfect for serving sparkling water. You can see more of this festive setup here.
I love recipes like these because they make seasonal entertaining feel easy and fun. Whether you’re serving cute charcuterie cups at a baby shower, a casual dinner with friends, or enjoying snacks on the patio, the goal is always the same — beautiful food with zero stress.
If you’re someone who enjoys planning relaxed gatherings and pretty table settings, I’ve put together a couple of digital planning guides that might help you pull it all together: one for outdoor entertaining and one for seasonal tablescapes. A quick and Easy Dessert
If you’re looking for a simple dessert to serve with these leftover pork tacos, one of my go-to favorites is my easy peach crisp made with frozen peaches. It uses pantry ingredients, comes together quickly, and is always a hit.
I like to mix the topping and spoon it over the frozen peaches before I start making the tacos. By the time dinner is finished, the peach crisp is bubbling and ready to serve — about 30 minutes in the oven.
It’s the perfect low-stress dessert to round out an easy weeknight meal or casual taco night.
