I’m thrilled to bring you this week’s Linky Party with a special focus on the red, white, and blue delights! This is such a beautiful time of year when we gather our families for picnics, lake parties, and most importantly, to remember and honor those who sacrificed so much for our freedoms. My heart goes out to all who have or had loved ones serving in the military. As a dear friend of mine said, “Will we wake up each day and live worthy of the sacrifice?” This profound question really hit home for me this year. May we all take a moment to remember those who have served our country to protect our freedom. 🇺🇸
Without further ado, let’s dive into the delightful patriotic tablescapes and mouth-watering desserts shared by some fantastic bloggers. These ideas will surely add a festive touch to your celebrations!
Jenna from The Painted Apron has shared an incredibly easy and delicious fruit galette. She gives a unique twist by brushing the pastry with almond extract before filling it with fresh, juicy fruits. This simple yet elegant dessert is perfect for any summer gathering. Check out her recipe here.
Raquel from An Organized Island offers a super simple and scrumptious recipe for red and white strawberry cheesecake parfaits. Made with graham crackers, cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and whipped topping, these parfaits are a breeze to put together and a joy to devour. Find her recipe here.
Linda from Bushel and a Pickle has created the cutest outdoor red, white, and blue tablescape. I absolutely adore her choice of dishes and linens, which bring a charming and cohesive look to her setup. You can see more of her lovely tablescape here.
Shelley from Calypso in the Country has put together a stunning red, white, and blue tablescape by the pool. I am absolutely coveting her star plate and the navy and white striped placemats that make each place setting pop. Take a look at her fabulous setup here. Red white and blue delights in this tablescape!
We had an amazing Memorial Day at the lake with a BBQ afterwards with our family. Paddle boarding, corn hole, ladder golf, and pickle ball were the highlights, and everyone had a blast. It’s moments like these that make life so special and remind us of the importance of family and togetherness.
