This weeks linky party will get you into spring! I am really craving spring right now. Winter has been here long enough! I really shouldn’t complain because last year we had snowmageddon. This year we had some snow and rain and lots of cloudy days. Spring will be here before I know it and I just can’t wait!
Spring linky party highlights
Decoupaging eggs is something I have wanted to try. Hunny I’m Home blog has this craft down pat. These eggs look handpainted but they are not. Using beautiful spring paper napkins and decoupage glue you can have beautiful eggs in no time!
Another fun decoupage idea is from Apple Street Cottage Blog. How to upcycle a candle jar using paper napkins. I have been a fan of decoupage for years now. In fact I had a small business where I decoupage baskets and sold them to Nordstroms many years ago!
St. Patrick’s day is coming up soon and I am always looking for some fun ideas for my table. The Painted Apron has lots of adorable tablescapes that you don’t want to miss. This one in particular caught my eye with the cute little leprechaun and lots of green and peach.
Speaking of peach how about this delicious sounding balsamic peach dessert pizza! It is made with blasamic glaze which is to die for and marscapone cheese. Homemade on a weeknight has the details on how to make this delectable dessert.
Karins Kottage Happenings
Life here at the Kottage has been fun with family birthdays and dinners. Two of my grandkids are celebrating birthdays this month. How can I have a 15 yr old granddaughter?? I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. My daughter, Emily, made this amazing cake for the kids!
On Sunday we had the family over to celebrate the birthday kids and I made homemade focaccia bread that is so yummy! Recipe is coming.
My granddaughter loves to experiment in the kitchen. Ella begged me to help her make these candy coated fruit on sticks. They turned out really pretty and yummy too.
