Winter Elegance: Cozy Layers and Chic Comfort for a simple winter outfit
Winter is the season to embrace warmth and style, and I’ve got a simple winter outfit that is perfect to keep you both cozy and chic. In this ensemble, I’ve curated a look that combines comfort with a touch of shimmer and a dash of sophistication.
I kicked off this winter look with a shimmering mixed media split neck top from Ann Taylor. The satin-like feel adds a luxurious touch, and the split neck design works wonders for short-waisted gals like me, elongating the torso effortlessly.
The magic happens when you do a French tuck into high-waisted wide leg jeans. This not only enhances the flattering aspect of the top but also elongates your legs by revealing more of those fabulous jeans.
Speaking of jeans, these are my absolute favorite – equipped with built-in tummy control for that perfect put-together feel. I talked more in depth about them here. Seriously you need a pair!
I opted for low-heeled pointed toe suede booties. The pointed toe works wonders with wide-leg jeans, creating an illusion of longer legs and elevating the overall look.
Comfort meets style in these beauties.
Adding a creamy white linen scarf tied effortlessly around the neck brings a touch of winter sophistication to the ensemble. It’s a simple accessory that completes the look with finesse.
The real showstopper of this winter outfit is the long tunic window pane plaid sweater that zips up the front. While I snagged mine from TJmaxx years ago, You can see another way of how I styled it here.
I’ve found similar looking ones for you to explore. The tunic length is universally flattering, giving you the warmth of a coat without the heaviness. I put together a video about this outfit that you can see here.
Let me know your thoughts on this winter look! Drop a comment and share if this ensemble resonates with your style. Winter elegance is all about feeling fabulous and staying cozy, and this outfit strikes the perfect balance. Stay stylish, stay warm!
