Spring Ideas From Bloggers- Linky Party

So happy to bring you some really great spring ideas from bloggers that linked up to my linky party last week! I just can’t get enough of all things spring! Our winter her in Utah is still going strong! I am on my way home from visiting my mom and stepdad in St. George, Utah. It was so beautiful, sunny and warm! Now I am looking out the window and seeing snow on the ground. Plus there is a big snow storm coming our way tomorrow 😮

These spring ideas have me CRAVING for warmer temps, flowers, gardening and baking some yummy things! How about all of you…has spring sprung for you yet?

Linky Party Highlights

Here is your spring time eye candy from these 4 bloggers! First up is South House Designs is sharing 17 best thrifty flower garden tips. Her post is filled with fabulous frugal ideas of how to get your garden growing.

I love her ideas of how to use unique things to plant flowers in like this rain boot!

So cute!

Fat Dad Foodie is at it again whipping up an amazing fun St. Patrick’s day cookies! These are meringue cookies! He uses egg whites, cream of tartar and of course green M&M’s.

He shares the secrets of making good meringue. I have never made meringue cookies so these would be great for St. Patrick’s day!

I always love a good thrifted find and The Antiqued Journey always scores! This vintage hanky is so cute and springy!

You need to see all of her linens that she has found! Make sure you check out her post!

This rustic naked cake topped with fresh flowers is the epitome of springtime! My Hubbard Home has some great tips when using fresh flowers to decorate your cake.

Rachelle even has created a list of flowers that are edible for you to choose from too.

Thanks to all you ladies for linking up each week and sharing your creativity in all areas of home life.

Kottage Happenings

St. Patrick’s day is coming! I did two different tablescapes using green and white. This one I created a centerpieces using copper pennies and cute copper dishes. Check it out!

Green and white napkins and white dishes with gold chargers, create a simple but elegant St Patrick’s day table.

I seriously cannot wait to start planting my herb garden. We usually plant one every year in this metal tub out in our backyard. Using fresh herbs for cooking is one of my favorite things to do

Karins Kottage

Welcome to Karins Kottage! There is always something fun going on! You would think after becoming an empty nester couple that our nest would be very quiet and empty but our Kottage nest is usually more full than what we started out with! You might find me hosting a birthday party or graduation party and a baby shower on the same weekend or a big outdoor get together with 25 of our friends and family in the backyard or maybe I might be in the kitchen trying out a new recipe for my hubby and I to grill on the BBQ for a quiet night for the two of us. I am passionate about entertaining and setting a beautiful table! I may or may not have an addiction to cloth napkins and fun salad plates oh and goblets too! I think I will always have a home decorating DIY project in the works as long as my hubby is on board with me haha. We have painted A LOT in the 6 homes we have owned in the 35 years that we have been married as well as re-done multiple pieces of furniture, added wall and ceiling treatments, replaced lights, bathroom fixtures and even tiled floors! I have sewn what seems like a million window treatments for our home as well as for family, made slipcovers, and duvets and even a formal dress or two!
