I love this floral flowy skirt and it’s super easy to style! Today I am going to show you 3 different ways to style my favorite floral flowy skirt. Flowy skirts with elastic waist bands are just the best thing going! Comfortable, breezy, cute and can be dressed up or down!
What is the best way to style a floral flowy skirt? What top is best to wear with a flowy skirt? How do you style a midi floral flowy skirt? I am here to answer your questions!
First of all let’s start with the skirt. This is a floral flowy midi skirt and it is great to style because there is multiple colors to work with. This particular skirt has soft pink, cream, olive green and grey in it. The colors lend itself to solids and even stripes. A friend I follow in Instagram has the same skirt and styled it with a green and white striped blouse here. I got a few of my ideas from her account.
Flowy skirts with elastic waist bands are so comfortable and look great on most body types. The elastic waistband also has a cute tie that gives it a BOHO look.
This skirt is 100% Rayon and flows away from the body and looks so pretty with two tiers and tiny ruffles!
Skirts are perfect for summer because they are breathable. Midi skirts look fabulous with sandals, heels, flats and even sneakers. Floral flowy skirts are perfect for all 4 seasons! I would wear this skirt with a sweater or jacket and boots for fall or winter.
See how I styled it here with a creamy peasant top and pink denim jacket.
Currently this skirt is available on Amazon for only $31.99 Plus it comes in a multitude of colors!
Even though there is no blue in this skirt a denim jacket works great with it!
What did we ever do without our denim jackets? They go with everything and travel perfectly!
Am I right or what?
A simple white linen short sleeved top is not only casual but is also very stylish. It’s a nicer option than a plain t- shirt although you could totally wear a white, pink or grey T-shirt with this outfit.
Don’t you think by adding a cute straw bag it makes this outfit feel European?
I will be bringing this outfit on my next trip to Italy at the end of the month! I could even wear my white tennis shoes with this outfit to walk all around Italy.
A fun way to wear this flowy skirt is to pair it with a bold olive green linen blouse from JJill. They don’t have the green in stock but there is a really pretty pink one available. I think I might need that one too!
Instead of tucking the blouse in, tie it at the waist.
I just love relaxed causal linen tops and pants! Don’t you?
Add some strappy sandals, a cute little leather purse, and a pair of tortoise shell sunglasses – making for an “Under the Tuscan sun” vibe!
I mean why not dress like you live in Europe all the time? haha
The little ruffles on the skirt just make it feel so feminine and flirty.
Last but not least is my pretty in pink outfit. (I guess today is movie reference day haha)
This pink top is one of my favorites that I have had for 2 or maybe 3 years. The cute swiss dots give a fun texture to the top. It hits right at the top of the hip so it is perfect for short waisted gals.
The best thing about the pink top is the 1/4 bell sleeves! Fun details like texture and style make for a pretty outfit.
The strappy sandals, sunglasses, some bangle bracelets and a small leather purse create an outfit perfect for church, a summer wedding or a fun date night.

Love this outfit choice, great for spring/summer.
Gosh, I was so hoping I would see you modeling these pretty outfits. It’s just not the same without you! I have a some flowy skirts, but I worry about how I look without a tiny waist. Thanks for always having great ideas.
Lee you are so cute! I have modeled this skirt here https://karinskottage.com/2021/05/how-to-style-cotton-flowy-skirt.html I have a thicker waist as well. If i can camouflage it by wearing a shorter jean jacket or tying the blouse at the waist and leaving the blouse open with a tshirt underneath creates interest rather than focusing on my thick waist. I just play with different jackets and top to find the right scale. Hope that helps. Thank you for leaving me a comment :)
