It is time for a Christmas Crafts Linky party here on Karins Kottage!
This week I have chosen some really great Christmas crafts to highlight from last week.
A DIY advent calendar made from scrapbook paper that is so adorable!
A beautiful Angel Ornament that starts off with hot glue and no yarn loop Christmas tree and one recipe that sounds perfect for gift giving!
Last week we spent Thanksgiving with our two daughters and their families up in Park City.
We had so much fun with everyone.
I am sharing lots of pictures from our Thanksgiving celebration.
My two daughters and I, including my oldest and one of my youngest granddaughters helped baked pies, rolls, cooked all the side dishes and a turkey.
We even included vegan side dishes which was very new to me.
Everything turned out so good!
The grandkids played lots of games and went sledding!
Us ladies watched the great British baking show while the men watched football.
Our family lip synchs were absolutely hysterical this year! Don’t mind my crazy laughter in this video.
The annual gingerbread decorating houses contest was a total success.
Big daddy Kev (one of my SIL’s) always dresses up as an elf to judge the gingerbread houses.
The grandkids really got into decorating them this year including the three year old!
One night we were able to go over to another resort for a tree lighting ceremony.
We took a short ride up the gondola to a grassy area with an amazing band and witnessed the tree lighting ceremony complete with fireworks.
It was AWESOME!
I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving!
Here are the highlights I have chosen from last weeks linky party!
I must say congratulations to these amazing bloggers because their ideas are just fabulous!
First up is the oh so darling DIY advent calendar that Rachel over at My Hubbard home created!
I am dying over the total cute details including the homemade little envelopes that hold all kinds of trinkets and treats! I have got to carve out some time to make this for my grandkids!
This beautiful angel ornament was created by The Ponds Farm House using lightweight pieces of wood.
The outline of the angel is first made by using hot glue!
Then to complete the details she uses white chalk paint and metallic gold paint to bring out the features!
Ok now you are going to be amazed with what The apple Street Cottage used to make these Christmas trees!
It looks like yarn doesn’t it but it is made using a mop head from the dollar store!
I know!! Crazy cute huh!
Ok so these peanut balls not only look good but I know they are going to taste amazing!
Organized Island made these delicious treats and guess what?
They are vegan!
My oldest daughter who is now vegan is going to freak out when I make her some for Christmas!

Rachelle, Your advent calendar is so adorable! I can't wait to try making one for my grandkids. I love the idea of changing up the amount of days...we don't have to do 12 days of Christmas we could do 5 days or 8 days or whatever works best. Such a great idea!
