Who does not love polka dots? When I put this Yellow White and Pink Polka Dot Mother’s Day Tablescape together on my old blog The Style Sisters years ago I really thought of how it reminded me of the old actress Doris Day…Sunny bright and happy. Can’t you imagine Clark Gable coming into the kitchen nook to join her in a delicious meal at this table?
I have had these darling yellow, pink and white polka dot plates for a few years now. I picked them up at Target for cheap! Similar ones are linked below in my Shop This Post section. Melamine plates are perfect because they don’t break easy. Perfect for when the grandkids often are here! You may remember this darling polka dot tablescape my daughter did years ago for her kids.
I have had these pink and white beaded napkin rings for years now and I use them all the time. These napkin rings add a pretty touch to any tablescape. I will link some that are similar below.
I adore this tall white pitcher that I received as a gift many years ago. I use it for serving beverages and as a vase for cut flowers. Do you remember when I put ribbon around it to create stripes for a 4th of July tablescape here? This pitcher is so versatile and I love that I can use it almost everyday even just to serve water in.
Nothing makes a tablescape more inviting to me than using fresh flowers. These flowers are from the grocery store so they don’t cost much at all. When they start to fade a bit, cut them down and pick out the ones that still look good and use them in smaller vases like I did here for this spring tablescape.
I love using things from the outdoors like this white metal candle holder that I normally use out on the patio, It just adds a little unique touch to the table. By using some yellow gingham fabric I had in my stash as a table runner by scrunching it up and placing in the middle of the table to bring in the main color for my Yellow pink and white polka dot tablescape.

I love your yellow color scheme, Karin!! Your table is so fresh and lovely!
So pretty, I love Doris Day!! I wonder if her movies are still floating around somewhere, I would love to watch them again :)
I do too! I bet you could find some of her old movies on Netflix or amazon. That would be so fun to watch some of her old movies! Thanks for stopping by and saying hi :)

This tablescape is so bright and cheery, Karin! I love it. It's so hard to believe Mother's Day is right around the corner so this will give us lots of inspiration! Hope and your family are all safe and well, CoCo
Hi CoCo...Thank you so much for stopping in and saying Hi. I know it's crazy that Mother's Day is right around the corner! I was just texting siblings about gifts for my MIL and my mom. It comes up so fast and then bam it's summer! I am loving the warmer temps right now and all my spring flowers! :)
