So that is what I am going with. For my centerpiece I stacked my white plates with black lettering (also from TJMAXX a few years ago) on one of my clear cake plates and topped it with a birds nest under a glass dome!
Isn’t the green cut crystal wine glass gorgeous!! These belonged to my grandmother and she passed them to my mom and recently my mom passed them on to me!
I llike mixing plain things with sparkly fancy things.
I loved the print on the napkin so much that I used one in the center for a a mini tablecloth. That left me short one napkin but I remembered that I had some other green and blue striped napkins and brought those out and they matched perfectly!! I was able to use them in this tablescape as well as the paisley ones. I just did it every other one and I think it just adds to the table to use more than one fabric!
I also tried using lime green napkins with a blue napkin ring around it.
I loved that too!
How about just a crisp white one napkin with the blue napkin ring!
I love that one too!
It is just so refreshing isn’t it?
Here is the same table only I changed out the centerpiece. I used my thrift store glass hurricane jar and filled it with decorative lime green apples and I also used white glasses instead of the cut crystal ones and I changed out the floral napkin in the center for the striped one.
I am amazed at how versatile the white dishes are. I am able to use them in so many tablescapes and have it look so different!
Just by changing out the salad plate makes it look completely different. Here I added back in the cut crystal glasses and blue soup bowls sitting on top of the lime green salad plates.

Setting the table is so fun to do and makes meal time more fun.

There's more of that fabulous cut crystal!!! It's wonderful that your Mom has passed them on to you to keep them in active use. If I am ever turned loose on the streets of Germany, Russia, or Ireland, I am sure I will run up a shipping tab equal to the National Debt sending crystal back home! I like those "Lunch, Brunch, Dinner" plates a lot, too. They're really cute. Very pretty! Please enter me in the giveaway. I am certain I could find lots of ways to use these napkin rings. Have a great (but safe!) St. Patrick's Day weekend!
I am just now visiting from Marty's party- love your table!
I wasn't going to do this since I already have three sets – 2 pink and one blue — but you just can't have too many cute napkin rings! I would love to get some white ones now!
Would love a set of your adorable napkin rings. I think if I got to choose I'd choose the red.
Love your Ideas Karen. I swear you need to write a book or start your own show! LOve ya!

What a great blog – I am a new fan of yours.
I love the fresh colours you have used and the layering of colour and design. The green apples in with the hurricane candle is very pretty.
Today I finally finished sewing 8 blue linen napkins, so I would love to win your napkin rings. If I don't win them, I will buy them, although I'm not sure if you mail items to Canada. Do you? I tried filling in the order form and couldn't understand why it showed a shipping cost of zero for Canada. That can't be right can it? Anyhow – great post. Thanks!
Would be so happy to win your napkin rings – they're so pretty! Make my Pink…
