Welcome, friends, to this week’s festive Thanksgiving home ideas edition of the Karins Kottage Linky Party! Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and I’m excited to share some stunning ideas to inspire your holiday décor. From beautiful tablescapes to charming entryways, these featured bloggers have showcased their unique styles to create warm and inviting Thanksgiving settings.
Debra from Common Ground has created a gorgeous Thanksgiving entryway that sets the perfect tone for welcoming guests. Her design features a lovely small tree placed in an elegant urn, complemented by a beautiful painting, pumpkins, and a wreath hanging on a spectacular mirror. The combination brings warmth and elegance, inviting friends and family to feel at home the moment they step through the door.
Over at Thrifting Wonderland, this tablescape embraces thrifted charm with a stunning plate stack. It begins with wooden chargers and layers with Noritake dinner plates featuring pheasants foraging in a field. The dark green napkin placed beneath the salad plate ties the entire look together, adding a touch of rustic sophistication. This tablescape is proof that you can create beauty without breaking the bank.
My friend Rita from Panoply has put together a breathtaking woodsy, brown-toned Thanksgiving tablescape. Her use of pheasant placemats and locust wood chargers creates a foundation rich in texture and warmth. The fowl-themed dinner plates and bamboo-handled silverware add a delightful, natural touch. I love seeing these detailed and thematic pieces bring the table to life.
Cecilia from My Thrift Store Addiction has chosen a light, vintage-inspired look for her Thanksgiving table. She uses Enoch Wedgwood dinner plates in the green and white Kent pattern, setting a timeless and fresh tone. Her centerpiece—a wooden tray filled with fall-themed candles, a ceramic pumpkin, green apples, and a pot of fresh herbs—perfectly ties in the natural elements.
I’m so inspired by each of these beautiful and creative Thanksgiving ideas! They remind me that the holiday is about creating a warm, welcoming space filled with gratitude and love.
On a personal note, I’ve been keeping busy with lots of hand therapy since my finger amputation. The healing process is going well, although it’s still quite sensitive and stings from time to time. This Saturday, I’ll be going in for a CT and MRI scan to check that the cancer hasn’t spread. Your prayers and good thoughts mean so much to me—I’m hoping for positive results!
In the midst of all this, I’ve been working on a special project: red satin Christmas dresses for my granddaughters. I’m so close to finishing them, and I can’t wait to share the final photos. I am going to add a gold sash with a bow in the back. I think they are going to look absolutely adorable!
Speaking of Christmas, I’m thrilled to be hosting a special luncheon for my oldest granddaughter and her friends in December before they head to their Winter Ball. I’m planning a brunch menu with fun, kid-friendly options like fruit kabobs, overnight French toast, yogurt parfaits, and an egg dish.
It’s going to be such a festive and memorable gathering in my sugar plum fairy decorated dining room 🙂
Alright, friends, let’s get this Linky Party started! I’d love to see all your amazing Christmas ideas. Thank you for joining me and sharing your inspiration—it’s truly a joy to host this community.

Karin, thank you for the feature! I am impressed with your pinky finger progress of healing. I would imagine you'll have those stinging sensations for quite some time where the nerves were severed. I will definitely pray the cancer is no more with clean results on your tests. The girls dresses are beautiful!! Gold sashes will be royal! I love the brunch table and food menu. Have a great rest of the week.
