Beauty and the Beast Centerpiece Wednesday

Hello everyone and welcome to Centerpiece Wednesday!
My sweet granddaughter turned four last week and wanted a Beauty and the Beast birthday party. Since her mom just had a new baby we decided to have a family birthday party. We used a glass cloche atop a small vase with a beautiful red rose for the centerpiece. Luimere and Cogsgrove were in attendance too 🙂
I went to Walmart and purchased some red and yellow tissue paper and whipped up some paper flowers. I will have a tutorial here for you in the next couple of days. These are so easy to make. I hung them above my chandelier for big impact.
Lumiere is standing off to the side with his candles almost burnt all the way down 😉
Ella loved all the details! Especially the rose under glass.
Her momma made these yummy chocolate cupcakes and we frosted them with buttercream frosting tinted yellow and we found these red rosé decorations at Walmart in the bakery party section. Perfect don’t you think?
Originally Madeline…Ella’s mom was going to make a tiered cake but when she asked her hubby to take the cakes out of the oven he didn’t check the cakes to see if they were done and they were raw in the middle so …Madeline being very resourceful…cut around the raw part and turned the pieces of cake into a beautiful trifle!
Sweet Ella all dressed up in her new fairy costume wearing a sparkly crown waiting for her cupcake.
This was the centerpiece of my week…what was yours?
I can’t wait to see what you have been up to.

Found your site while visiting from "The Home Girl" blog. Your party was so pretty and your little princess made me smile – so cute! The rose under the glass reminded me of "Beauty and the Beast" – simple but enchanting. Thank you for hosting and for all the lovely inspiration.
