Under the Tuscan Sun Tablescape

My cute daughter Emily and my husband surprised me with some beautiful new table linens and some new fun glasses along with a pitcher to match for Mother’s Day!
I was not home for Mother’s Day this year as I was gone to help my other daughter who just had her second baby. Emily and my sweet husband pulled together a tablescape for me and emailed me the photos showing me my new things! How sweet are they!I added some fresh greenery from the backyard and plopped it into this vase and took some photos this morning to show all of you my interpretation of “Under the Tuscan Sun” tablescape in deep rich colors.
These table linens and cool glassware that they bought for me came from my favorite store called Jackalope in New Mexico. You see we were all with my other daughter Madeline and her little family to welcome in the newest member…my new grandson…Calvin. Emily had left her car in Utah and needed to bring it home so my sweet hubby and Emily drove home from Salt Lake City in Emily’s jeep and stopped off at my favorite store to shop for me!! I can’t believe they did that…so precious of them.
I love how the glassware sparkles in the sunlight.Emily and Mike used my thrift store find…the large glass bowl and filled it with sea shells for the centerpiece.

They also used some of my brown bamboo placemats too.

They did an amazing job don’t you think?

Of course they used my beautiful napkin rings to make the napkins pop! I love how they used deep rich colors against the white plates. Oh and see the darling white salad plate with the floral edge? My sweet sweet friend Carrie gave those to me while I was gone too. I came home to so many fun surprises and my table all set!

I hope you enjoyed my interpretation of “Under the Tuscan Sun” tablescape.

You can purchase the napkin rings in either white, red, blue or pink right here on my blog. I am still offering them for $1.00 each! They are perfect for any time of year and really make your tablescape pop!

What a nice idea as a Mother's Day gift. The tablecloth and napkins are very pretty and so are the glasses and the pitcher, too. And they made a gorgeous table for you.

I am AMAZED that your DH and daughter would buy dishware/linens AND set a table for you with them as a M's Day gift! Now that is perfect! And what a great job they did! Love the napkins especially!

If anyone could have done something beautiful with those plates, it was you! I knew the moment I saw them. So happy you liked them. 🙂 Carrie

Okay, you have trained your family soooo well. They buy you great table stuff (love the napkins) and then they DO a tablescape for you. P.S. I bought the polka dot parfait glasses at the Orem TPT, although my sister was down in St. George for Mother's Day and she said she saw them there too…must have gone fast! Joni
