Easy Peach Crumble for Two: A Delicious Summer Dessert Recipe

You are going to love this easy peach crumble for two! If you have a peach tree in your yard like I do, you’re probably always looking for new ways to use those fresh peaches. I recently stumbled across a fabulous recipe for peach crumbles for two from Bake or Break, and it has quickly become a favorite in my home. It’s super simple, delicious, and only requires a few basic ingredients—most of which you probably already have in your pantry!

Here’s what you’ll need to whip up this tasty easy peach crumble for two:

Ingredients

Easy Peach crumble Filling for two:

Easy Peach Crumble for Two
  • 1 cup chopped peaches (you can peel them if you prefer, but I left mine unpeeled)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Crumble Topping:

  • 3 tablespoons old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small cubes
  • Slivered almonds (optional, for a nice crunch)
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional, but highly recommended!)

Directions

Prepare the Peach Filling: In a small bowl, combine the chopped peaches, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cornstarch. Stir to coat the peaches evenly. Divide the peach mixture between two 6- to 8-ounce baking dishes.

Make the Crumble Topping: In another bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add the cold butter cubes and, using a fork (or your fingers), mix until the mixture forms crumbles.

Assemble and Bake: Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the peaches in the baking dishes. If you like, sprinkle slivered almonds on top for an added crunch. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the crumble topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling.

Serve and Enjoy: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate summer treat!

    Why I love this recipe

This peach crumble is the perfect dessert for two, especially when peaches are in season and bursting with flavor. It’s so easy to make, and the combination of warm peaches with the crispy, buttery crumble topping is just heavenly. The almonds add a lovely crunch, and the ice cream melts into the warm peaches for a dreamy, creamy finish.
