Thank you to Susan over at Between Naps on the Porch for highlighting my napkin rings in her Tablescape today!!
Welcome to Centerpiece Wednesday!
Dinning in the backyard is my all time favorite..especially in the early fall when it is the perfect temperature outside.
I started with a sisal rug on the table followed by brown silky lining fabric on the edges that flows to the ground. I like the contrast in textures. For the centerpiece I brought out one of my white lanterns from Ikea and filled it with fall leaves and an orange candle. I also put a large grapevine wreath around the lantern to add a harvest look to the table.
On either side of the lantern I placed to small sized pots with a tall faux plant in each..to add some greenery. The little pots are cement colored with dark colored rings on the front.
I love the amber colored goblets…I bought the bubble glass goblets at JC Pennys. They add the perfect color of autumn to the table and some sparkle.
For the napkins I have used three different kinds. I didn’t have enough of the red, green, gold plaid so I took 1 red and 1 gold napkin and put them together and placed one of my white napkin rings (.75 each if you buy a set of 12) around both for a fun new look..just using what I have…. and laid them across my leaf plates from Walmart!
Here are the plaid napkins with my white napkin rings.
Here you can see our pergula with white lights hanging from it as the dusk turns to night.
At night everything just glows.
Use what you have to create a centerpiece…gather things from around the house. Try using out of the ordinary things like rugs for a tablecloth and using all different kinds of textures to make your table really come alive.

I really like the shot of white with the fall colors. Really provides a pop to the whole tablescape. It's expecially perfect with the blues from your pool in the background. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
Its gorgeous. i just like your candlelaps.
Your tablesetting looks so inviting -I love that you still ahd the setting outdoors and took pictures of the candle warmth at night
I love the idea of the wreath on the table around the candle/lantern. It looks very pretty. Here in New England it is a bit late in the season for dining outdoors.
I love it, and being able to set it outside is so dreamy. This is lovely.
What a pretty table for fall. I've seen your napkin rings at Tablescape Thursday. They are wonderful!
It all looks so gorgeous for fall!

I am so tickled to find this meme…I have wondered and wondered why no one had started one like this. I LOVE to see pretty centerpieces.
I will be linking up with you in the future.
Love your beautiful table…:)
Very pretty table, nice and fresh for an outdoor setting. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful table, unbelievably fabulous chairs, cute Halloween banners….obviously I have been catching up and spending a while here.
Wish I was at the RS class on sewing you were doing! You would be great to have in our ward.
I saw on Joni's that you were going to visit Gardner village. They have a fabulous breakfast with the witches that I am going to post on later. We love witches night out too. I took my granddaughter last year and did a photo shoot of her there. This year I am taking 3 of them to do a photo shoot. Have fun when you come. Are you coming for Conference?
Gosh! the napkins & your maple leaves plates are to die for. Absolutely pretty.
I didn't know you have you Wednesday meme… or obviously, missed it.
I will keep on mind next week & love to join.
Happy TS Day.
Greetings from chilly Stockholm,

You're awesome, thank you~
Beautiful tablescape for this season! I am definitely keeping my eyes open for some gold goblets. Yours are fantastic!
Really welcoming look! Very pretty decorative pieces! If Ikea ever comes to the Kansas City area, my husband will surely disown me! 🙂
Your table looks lovely, so pretty outdoors!
I linked up, thanks for hosting!
BTW, Blogger has a new spam guard so you don't need to use the id word. It saves a lot of time when blog hopping! 🙂
Wonderful ideas!
What a beautiful fall table. It was too hot for me to set a table outside; the glue might have melted on my candy corn centerpieces! I love the golden and orange colors on your table. Thanks for hosting. Joni
Very pretty. Love your setting and your lantern is gorgeous! Thanks for hosting.

Hi – wow, you did such a great job with your table. I've never thought about using a rug on the tabletop but I think it's a great idea and such a delightful surprise for your guests. The glasses are so pretty, I never think of looking in Penney's for things – I've been doing most of my tabletop shopping at Home Goods, Marshalls and TJMaxx as well as Michaels. Thank you for sharing such a pretty tablescape! Ciao, bella!
Great idea to use a lantern with fall accessories as a centerpiece! I love the plaid napkins which look terrific with your napkin rings! Thanks for hosting Centerpiece Wed's, it's my first time joining in!
