Valentine Heart Shaped Burlap Wreath

UPDATE- SOLD OUT! Burlap Heart Shaped Ruffle Wreath With Fabric Roses For sale in my Etsy shop HERE

I came across this ruffle idea from another blog (which I can’t remember now) but I put my own spin on it and added a few extra things to spiff it up a little bit.

Using painters drop cloth fabric and hot glue I created small roses to give it a little more oomph.

Directions

It is really easy to create this wreath! I cut strips of burlap into 2 1/2 widths and threaded them onto a wire hanger that I shaped into a heart.

Threading them over and under created ruffles. Then I used some painters drop cloth to create rosettes by winding them around and hot glueing them into place.

Then to add a little bit more dimension I added skinny strips of painters drop cloth to wind around the entire wreath. I saved some for the top to use as a hanger.

I love using burlap to create beautiful things quickly and easily!

Burlap seems to be the "in" thing right now. I love the heart wreath. You ought to sell them. I've already ordered your napkin rings and can't wait for them to arrive. Thanks for sharing the wreath.
