Down-on-their-luck vintage fabrics (think stained, worn, and ripped) hit the style jackpot in these easy projects by Ki Nassauer of JunkMarket.
STUCK ON YOUMake binder clips and memo boards cook with 1940s apron fabric. For both projects, iron fusible interfacing to fabric. Temporarily remove silver arms from 2-inch binder clips. Cut fabric to fit clip exactly, coat interfacing with spray adhesive, and stick to the clip. For memo board, cut fabric to fit top. (To ease writing, avoid using such bumpy fabrics as corduroy.) Spray interfacing with adhesive and attach. Apply two coats of decoupage medium for a hard finish; trim edges with thin cord.
