How to style denim jacket and open v-neck blouse

This is one of my favorite spring looks! For Fashion Friday I am showing how to style my denim jacket and open V neck blouse.

Denim Fitted Jacket

If you have followed me for any length of time you know I love comfortable casual outfits. My denim jacket has been with me for quite a few years. You can see how I style it with black leggings, white blouse and scarf here.

I love this denim jacket so much because it has a little stretch to it which is great for my broad shoulders. The length of the sleeves on this jacket are nice and long which is unusual for me to find. (I think maybe I have ape arms…because most things run a little short haha)

Another great thing about this jacket is that it has some detailing that draws your eye down. Look at the front of the jacket…see the seams running down that is a nice tailoring detail.

Plus the back of jacket has 3 more vertical seams. A total win for my short waist!

Open V-neck blouse

I just bought this blouse from Old Navy and I am so happy with it! It is cotton, flowy, has v-neck and ruffles!

You can see the ruffle detailing around the neck. It is so feminine and pretty.

The little ties also add a little interest. I will be bringing this on my next trip to Italy for sure because it is light weight, easy to pack and can be worn with a jacket if it gets a little chilly .

Girlfriend khaki Pants

These are the such comfortable pants! I will be bringing these when I travel as well.

Here are a couple of reasons why I love them so much! Stretch twill weave, front slant pockets and rear welt pockets and the cut frayed raw hem! So cute!

Rattan earrings a.k.a. placemat earrings and Peepers

My favorite spring summer earrings are made of rattan or least I think they are.

My grandkids tell me they look like my rattan placemats that I use all the time! You can see my placemats that I used in my Easter tablescape here.

These earrings go with practically everything in the spring and summer and they are super light weight too!

Check out my Peepers! haha These are my new glasses from Peepers. They not only allow me to see things closeup (darn these older eyeballs) but they also have that blue screen protector thingy in the glass too.

They are just fun and they come in all kinds of patterns and colors

Walmart scrunch back orange sneakers
