Before we party today on Centerpiece Wednesday I want to tell you what I have been up to! I did my first LIVE Facebook post last Friday! I was a tad bit nervous and even got a little emotional. You can watch the recording if you scroll down to the bottom of the blog or click above and watch it on Youtube. I started talking about how crazy things are in the world and how crafting can make you feel joy and….sheesh, I got emotional LIVE on camera! I was able to pull myself back together and teach how to make coastal Christmas crafts but it sure caught me off guard.
Highlights from Centerpiece Wednesday Party
I want to party today on Centerpiece Wednesday I hope you do too! To host each week is just so much fun because I just to see all your fabulous ideas! Please take some time to visit at least 3 other blogs to say Hi. We all know how much we love to read a sweet comment especially when you have worked so hard to post about something.
How to Dry Hydrangeas
I have a bunch of lime light hydrangeas in my yard and I need to dry some of them. The house on Silverado shares really great tips on how to do this while saving the color. Did you know that there is a water method to dry hygrangeas? Me either! Go check out her tips.
DIY Concrete Fireplace
Holy Cow! This is one amazing transformation! Cherished Bliss not only covered her old brick fireplace with concrete to give it a beautiful new look but she also added shiplap above it!
Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken lettuce Wraps
These sound so delicious and are perfect for the season. What did we do before crock pot cooking? Slow cooker Living shares this easy recipe that I know I will using a lot! Another must have in my kitchen is a roasting pan oven especially at Thanksgiving so I can roast the Turkey but I also use it to roast two chickens at a time.
Adding neutral elements to fall cloche
These colors just speak to my soul! Creamy white, light blue and turquoise says beach to me but they way My Wee Abode displayed this it also says fall. I just love the bleached acorns and the pretty neutral colored florals. Of course the velvet pumpkin is to die for!

Karin, kudos to you for facing your fear AND keeping it real. This year has brought about a lot of changes in us all, and it sounds like yours are much for your betterment. I can honestly say I have learned some new things this year, and have spent a good deal of time focusing on helping close family members. Playing with dishes and even cooking/baking has been my creative outlet through it all. Happy September, and thank you for hosting this weekly get together. It gives us all incentive to do things at home and invite others in virtually!
Hi Karin, thanks for hosting! Facebook lives, oooh scary! Good for you that you had fun doing it!
Hi Jane, Yeah I am working on getting out of my comfort zone and facing fears haha. It wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be once I got going and after my little emotional moment. I guess I am just keeping it real right? haha. Thanks so much for linking up and leaving a comment I really appreciate you!

Hi Niky! Your hydrangeas are sooo spectacular and I have some limelight hydrangeas that I am going to go out and cut some today and try out some of your drying ideas! I wish I had some hygrangeas that were the pinkish color when they dry but really…I will take any type of hydrangea!
