Well today is centerpiece Wednesday Linky Party-making things! I was so inspired by these projects that my friends made and linked up last week!
Watercolor painting, Creating a garden obelisk, a cool tire wreath and spring decor that you will love!
I am excited to share them!
Kottage Happenings
Do any of you have back issues? I do…about every 6-8 weeks it goes out. I think I have a disc issue that rears its head at the most inopportune time 🙁
Pain, Rest, Ice, Heat, Advil on repeat. So so frustrating because I just want to go and do and do some more!
I did get a few things done last week. One of which (before the back went out) was sewing! Perhaps that is what caused the back issues?
I made some outdoor cushion covers for some chairs on my patio. My old ones were thrashed!
They turned out so nice! I used waterproof canvas!
My daughter and her hubby got her baby nursery all put together with the darling wire hoop floral wreaths we made! You need to check out the shiplap wall they did!
Highlights from Centerpiece Wednesday last week
I have always wanted to learn how to water color! Wait until you see this tutorial on The Painted Apron!
The colors she chose are just gorgeous! Maybe I will give watercolor a go!
Her directions are really amazing!
I love these garden obelisk’s and I need my hubby to make me some hee hee.
You know I have this back issue so I would need his help wink wink.
Kippia at home shows exactly how to make these!
Since my hubby made my planked top table I am sure he could whip some of these up for me don’t you think?
Oh would I love a space like this! This room used to be an outdoor metal shed that CoCo from Crowned Goat cottage turned into her office!
Every square inch there is something beautiful to look at! She has brought in some spring decor and it looks amazing! You need to see the entire space!
Julie over at My Wee Abode has made this fabulous tire floral wreath!
I love galvanized anything and to see this galvanized tire turned into a wreath is just the best thing ever!
Really, I think I need one since I use this 3 tier galvanized stand here and this galvanized water dispenser all the time as well as this galvanized serving tray for the 4th of July.
A galvanized tire just belongs with all my other things?
Don’t you all agree? 😉
Such creativity, talent and work! Thank you ladies for sharing your ideas with all of us!

yep, got the back issues and seeing my neurosurgeon tomorrow to see about surgery. herniated discs. not fun at all. take care of yourself and don’t stress your back. you may need to have an mri to get to the origin of the pain. I put mine off for years because so many other things were going on. oh yes, love the cushions!

oh my gosh! I’ve been debating about going to the Dr. but i figured that I know it is most likely a herniated disc so I just do exercises to keep it at bay. Sometimes though you just don’t know what will cause it to go out. Loading the dishwasher, putting on pants, twisting one way and then BAM I am out for the count! It is so frustrating to say the least! I am so sorry you are going through it too 🙁 Hang in there my friend.
Hugs,
Karin

Hi Cindy! Thank you for stopping by and linking up!
Karin
These are great features for this week, Karin. Can’t wait to check them out.
Your cushions look wonderful. Bending over the machine may have brought on the back pain. I hope you feel better real soon.
Hi Rachelle! They really are such creative features aren’t they! Thank you for the sweet compliment on my cushions 🙂 I hope my back calms down soon too…an you are probably right about the sewing causing the back pain 🙁
Hugs,
Karin
