How to Decorate Halloween Mantle

I put this Halloween Mantle together after seeing the mantle on Candice Stringham photography.

It just looks so unique with the twigs, black metal letter and creamy colored pumpkins.

The combination of white, black, cream and gold is maybe what you could consider an elegant Halloween look.

Items to decorate Halloween mantle

Using things that you already have around the house can add to the look of your Halloween mantle.

I had some black candle sticks, a bird cage that makes me think of Alfred Hitchcock’s movie the birds! A grapevine pumpkin and a couple of stacked books with a small urn sitting on top.

Even my huge clock adds to the Halloween look.

Placing things in different heights makes it look more interesting.

When everything is at the same height it tends to look flat.

My little orange pumpkin is taking center stage 😉 haha I think one of my grandkids put it on the mantle.

I created a couple of cute pumpkin crafts that would look so cute on here.

A black and white buffalo checked painted pumpkin and these super easy yarn pumpkins.

Halloween banner

I created this unique Halloween banner last year using all different kinds of paper, old jewelry, trim and little wooden cut outs.

Each pennant is 3 dimensional and one of a kind strung on ribbon.

Do you think this banner has a New Years Eve/Halloween combo feel to it? It kind of does!

Love, love your banner! I did a b&w mantle in my basement family room. Your banner would have went wonderfully! I did create one using bingo cards. Had fun making it. Kind of fun to go with the b&W.

Love the contrast of the black and white. The clock is a perfect focal point to work around. Everything is balanced out so nicely. I have already pinned it so I can find it again later.
