Hello friends welcome to Fashion Friday! Today I am sharing my go to comfortable workout clothes.
I am not a heavy duty workout queen by any stretch of the imagination but I do try to either go to the gym or walk around our lake most days.
Comfortable workout clothes are a must for me.
Comfortable workout leggings
I love a good pair of comfortable leggings. I can’t handle tight elastics waists on my leggings.
Being an over 50 (really over 60… gasp!) gal I have noticed the older I get the more my waist expands 🙁
So I have to find leggings that have a more comfortable waistline.
I also need leggings that stay up!
Sheesh it drives me crazy when we start walking around the lake or doing exercises and my leggings start to slip down.
Can anyone else relate to that?
Another one of my must haves is pockets!
Pockets big enough to hold my cell phone.
My go to comfortable workout sweatshirt
When I go out walking or to the gym in the fall and winter I want warmth.
I don’t want to wear a heavy sweatshirt but not a light one either.
Just a nice somewhat loose sweatshirt that when I get too hot I can take it off and wear around my waist.
Maybe I am too picky? haha
Sweatshirts that are more of a tunic are my style.
One that is long enough to cover my rear end while walking around the lake.
I bought this sweatshirt from an online boutique that was going out of business. Here is a Columbia tunic sweatshirt that has a button up collar that looks amazing. This LL Bean creamy tunic looks so soft and comfy.
Comfortable all day sneakers
I have found two different sneakers that I could walk around in all day long!
The pair I am wearing are New balance. They really seem to really fit my foot well.
I have high arches and they make my feet feel great!
The other pair I switch on and off with are my Under Armour sneakers. Both are really very comfortable and I can walk forever in them and that is saying a lot.
When we travel to Italy we usually clock in 10,000 to 18,000 steps a day!
I am all about wearing sneakers that fit my foot and that provide lots of comfort.

Karin, I’m mostly an Eddie Bauer girl, t-shirts and vests (with lots of pockets for hands-free antiquing and other busyness), but I do love the leggings that now have pockets. Nothing like a great sweatshirt over a t in cooler temps, and good shoes are a must have! We walk around 3 miles a day.
Hey girl, send me a direct email, please. I am trying to reach you, and you show up as a no-reply blogger on comments. Your ‘contact us’ link is not working on your home page! I need to send you some info! Thanks!
