If you love decorating for Valentine’s Day, then a flirty and fun Valentine table in pink, red, and white is always a winning combination. This cheerful color palette feels classic, romantic, and playful all at once — perfect for a ladies’ luncheon, family dinner, or Valentine’s Day gathering.

I’m so excited to be part of a Valentine tablescape hop hosted by the lovely Rita from Panopoly. There is so much inspiration shared by talented bloggers, and this table was my way of celebrating love, creativity, and a little bit of whimsy. See the bottom of post for links to other great Valentine tablescapes.
So grab a cozy drink and let me show you how I created this Valentine’s Day tablescape using mostly items I already had at home.
For this special occasion, I decided to create a Valentine table that screams flirty and fun. The color palette? Classic pink, red, and white! So, grab a cup of your favorite beverage and let me take you through the process of transforming my dining space into a Valentine’s Day haven.
Shopping My House for Valentine Decor
One of my favorite ways to decorate is by shopping my own house, and this Valentine table was no exception. I pulled together a mix of pink, red, and white pieces that felt fun and festive without spending a dime.

Here’s what I used:
- Pink, red, and white square paper plates
- White lacy placemats
- Ribbon, ric rac, and pom‑pom trim
- Clear drinking glasses with fleur‑de‑lis and bumblebee details
- Handmade melted crayon hearts from a previous Valentine’s Day
Using what you already own is one of the easiest ways to create a budget‑friendly Valentine tablescape that still feels special.
Creating a Flirty Valentine Table Runner
Instead of a traditional table runner, I layered long strips of ribbon, pom‑pom trim, and ric rac down the center of the table. Alternating colors and textures instantly added movement and a playful feel.
This is one of my favorite decorating tricks — it’s flexible, reusable, and works beautifully for seasonal tables. If you’ve followed me for a while, you might remember a red and white polka‑dot Valentine table I created for this ladies’ luncheon using a similar idea.

Charming Valentine Place Settings
The place settings are where this table really starts to feel flirty and fun.

I began with white lacy placemats to soften the look, then layered pink and red square paper plates at a slight angle. A smaller white plate on top added contrast and made everything pop.
The clear glasses with fleur‑de‑lis and bumblebee details were my mom’s, and using them brings back sweet memories of sitting around her table. I love adding sentimental pieces — they give a tablescape heart.

For napkins, I used floral ones my sister found at a yard sale and tied them with leftover pom‑pom trim to create simple DIY napkin rings.

And of course, those melted crayon hearts made a return — this time doubling as personalized Valentine place cards.

A Dazzling Valentine Centerpiece
The centerpiece pulls the entire table together. I used a white wooden two‑tier stand and filled it with Valentine goodies:
- A wooden Valentine decor
- A soft pink candle
- White wooden beads
- Faux flowers and small decorative accents

Layering different heights and textures keeps the centerpiece interesting without blocking conversation — always a win when entertaining.

Easy DIY White Coffee Filter Flowers
To finish the table, I made white coffee filter flowers that run down the center. These soft, fluffy blooms add just the right amount of romance and elegance.

How to Make Coffee Filter Flowers
- Stack 7 coffee filters.
- Fold the stack in half.
- Twist the bottom to form petals.
- Tape or staple the twisted end.
- Gently fluff each layer until it looks like a flower.
That’s it — quick, easy, and so pretty.

Final Thoughts on This Valentine Tablescape
This flirty and fun Valentine table in pink, red, and white proves that you don’t need fancy dishes or expensive décor to create something memorable. A little creativity, a few handmade touches, and items you already love can turn your dining space into a Valentine’s Day haven.
Here’s to love, laughter, and gathering around a beautiful table this Valentine’s Day. 💕
I’d love to hear — do you prefer traditional red and pink Valentine decor, or do you like to mix it up each year?
