An Indian Tribal Baby Shower for a Little Brave Man

Our sweet friend Michelle wanted an Indian tribal–inspired baby shower to celebrate her baby boy, I loved this theme from the very beginning. After scrolling Pinterest for inspiration, we fell in love with ideas from Kara’s Partyhttps://karaspartyideas.com/2012/07/little-brave-man-baby-shower.html – Little Brave Man Baby Shower. We mixed those ideas with a few creative touches of our own to make it feel personal and meaningful.

If you’re planning a baby shower with a rustic, tribal, or “little brave man” theme, this is such a fun and charming direction to go.

The Cake Display

A family friend made the cake, and it turned out so sweet and simple. To dress it up, we added fresh green leaves around the base for a natural look.

Using my Cricut, I cut out arrow shapes and hot glued them onto wooden skewers. We propped the cake up on a wooden crate for height and placed white spray-painted antlers in front to complete the rustic tribal feel. It was such a simple setup, but it made a big impact.

Indian Tribal Baby Shower Food Ideas

The food was one of my favorite parts — cute and easy.

Mini “Tom Tom Drums”

These little treats were marshmallows dipped in melted chocolate chips, then rolled in crushed graham crackers. Skinny wooden skewers worked perfectly for the handles, and I hot glued feathers onto them that I cut using my Cricut machine.

I displayed them on a wooden slab from Amazon, which added that perfect rustic touch.

Caramel Popcorn Snack

A simple basket lined with a bright, striped paper napkin (from Target) held caramel popcorn. Easy, colorful, and always a hit.

Veggie Cups

Blue and white zigzag paper cups were filled with fresh veggies and ranch dip and placed on my 3-tier metal serving stand for easy grabbing.

Tee Pee Sandwiches

These were adorable and disappeared fast!

  • Cut bread into triangle shapes
  • Spread each side with cream cheese
  • Sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs
  • Top with three cucumber slices
  • Finish by poking small pieces of pretzel sticks at the top to look like tee pee poles

Everyone loved them!

Arrow Fruit Skewers

Fresh fruit was skewered in a random order onto wooden skewers. I hot glued paper arrow points to the tips so they looked like large arrows — such a simple way to keep the theme going.

Styling the Indian Tribal Tablescape

We “shopped our house” for décor to finish the look. A toy drum, mini cactus plants, and even a skull head on a stick added interest and texture to the tablescape without spending extra money.

A Baby Shower to Remember

Our cute mommy-to-be loved everything, which made all the planning worth it. We had so much fun pulling inspiration from Kara’s Party and adding our own creative touches. That to made the shower feel special and personal.

If you’re planning an Indian tribal baby shower, this theme is full of charm and creativity — and it’s surprisingly easy to pull together.
