Karins Kottage Weekly Linky Party

So sorry I am late today with my weekly linky party here at Karins Kottage. Life just gets too busy in November right before Thanksgiving doesn’t it? Today I was getting some of my regular Thanksgiving items ready ahead of time. I made my orange roll recipe and froze them before baking them. So all I have to do is let them thaw and rise before baking on Thanksgiving day. Plus I also made my frozen pink arctic salad too.

Highlighting Four Bloggers

First up is Ann’s Entitled Life Pull apart Festive Christmas dinner rolls Wreath Recipe! It is so cute and looks so luscious! They look so fluffy and I love how she put it together in a wreath.

How about this amazing idea from 24 Hour Family, How to make a Christmas butter candle charcuterie board. This is a fun way to enjoy butter and a unique take on the recent butterboard obsession. Who would have thought you could make a butter candle!

These adorable quilt as you go scrappy Christmas Ornaments from Hello Sewing! The colors of fabrics are so fun and colorful. I need to make some of these cutie patooties now that I have finished sewing my granddaughters Christmas dresses.

Last but not least here is a fun recipe for Grinch Crack Recipe from 3 boys and a dog. It is made with saltine crackers! Of course some butter, brown sugar and candy wafers make this is sweet treat. I love the addition of a little red heart!

Karins Kottage Happenings

It was a super busy week for the family. My sister had her missionary come home from Australia after serving a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was such a sweet reunion seeing my sister and her bubby greet him at the airport. The family just surrounded him with lots of love.

Then my sister had another son get married on Saturday! Friday night we held a dinner for him and his bride to be. We had over 100 family and friends attend. I made BBQ pork sandwiches, beans and coleslaw.

I had never cooked that much pork before! It was almost 50 pounds! I roasted the pork in two electric roasting ovens for 11 hours each. It all turned out amazing! I wish I could’ve served the food in prettier containers but no one complained 😉

Linky Party

Ok my friends it is time for you to shine! Show me your Christmas creativity! I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Thank you again for all your love, prayers and support for me lately. My scans came back clear!! NO MORE CANCER! I know this is from all the prayers said on my behalf and I am humbled and so incredibly grateful! I am praying it does not figure out a way to ever come back.

SO much good news in this post! Yay for a family member returning home; those reunion photos at the airport are fabulous. It sounds like an amazing wedding weekend and it was so sweet of you to host Friday night. But best of all is the no cancer news! So many great things to be thankful for this year.
