Karins Kottage Happenings
We had such a fun weekend! We celebrated our youngest grandsons 7th birthday! We created a basketball themed party in the basement. My hubby was the “coach” and we played some fun basketball games with the family.
Then we had 5 of our 6 grandkids spend the night and we had so much fun! We made a fort in the basement, made peanut butter and jelly star sandwiches and just hung out.
Then we held a Memorial Day block party on our street! It was awesome!
We had a neighborhood band come play, rented a bounce house, had some neighbors do face painting for the kids.
Other neighbors set up lots of fun games all down the street.
We even had one teen play the Star spangled banner on his trumpet to start off the evening!

I am always looking for a fun homemade popsicle recipe to make for my grandkids. Organized island has a yummy strawberry and banana popsicle made with yogurt that I am going to make!
How cute is this patriotic picnic from The ponds Farmhouse! I love that she did not let the rain deter her plans and moved her picnic onto her porch!
