Sugarplum Fairy Tablescape

My grandkids are with me this week and I decided to get out a little Christmas starting with the dining room. I turned it into a Sugarplum fairy room!

My granddaughter loves…the Fancy Nancy books…so that was part of my inspiration for all the bright colors.

The movie Elf was also part of my inspiration…the part when they are in the Gimbels department store and Buddy the Elf creates a snowflake masterpiece. I made a bunch of snowflakes to hang from the ceiling along with some white paper flowers..it looks so awesome!
My husband suggested. I also hang a few colorful ball ornaments fromthe ceiling as well..so creative!

On the table I started with a white tablecloth and layered two pieces of bright colored fabric, pink and turquoise blue. Then I added a silvery leafy garland and another pastel ball garland down the center with a few more bright colored pink ball ornaments mixed in. Two large clear jars filled with silver bells and some very glittery pink reindeer.

Hanging off the chandelier are more brightly colored ornaments to bring in the whole fun color theme.

I love the huge glass jars filled with silver jingle bells for a simple yet festive centerpiece.

On my side credenza I have apothacary jars filled with different kinds of candy and cookies.

I really wanted to fill the entire room with snowflakes haha but that would have taken me all night long!

Here is our snowman Christmas tree the kids helped me put up.

I just have the best time being with my grandkids…it really beings out the kid in me.
