Prep the asparagus
- Wash and trim the asparagus
Prepare the pastry
- Thaw the pastry until it is pliable.
- Using a pizza cutter slice the pastry into 1/2" to 1" skinny strips
- Starting at the top of each spear begin wrapping one to two spears at a time with the pastry. At the bottom of the spear pinch the dough together and place seam side down on parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
- Mix egg with 1 Tbsp water. Brush the egg wash over each asparagus bundle.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese over each bundle
- Bake at 400 degrees for approx. 15-20 minutes or until golden.
