Pink and Green Linky Party-Spring Decor and Recipe

I am so excited to share some pink and green spring ideas with you today in my linky party! Spring is in the air here in Utah and it is spectacular…it worth the wait! The trees that line our street are so full of big white fluffy flowers it doesn’t even look real. I will share a picture later in this post. You are going to love the 4 ideas I am sharing from last weeks party so let’s get to it!

Pink and green linky party highlights

First up is this frog and toad pink and green spring tablescape. Beth over at Whispers of the heart shows us how to create this whimsical frog themed tablescape starting with the fun bright colored tablecloth. I love her pink flatware and the mini frog napkin rings. Just a fun way to create something new and different.

Sonata at home is showing how to make gorgeous moss May day baskets in 5 easy steps. So brilliant to use spray adhesive to attach the moss to the outside of the basket. Her secret weapon is to use hairspray after she attaches the moss to keep it in place! Check out all her other tips here. I can’t wait to try this out!

My husband’s favorite cake is pineapple upside cake. I was thrilled to see this recipe from Lou Lou Girls for pineapple bread pudding! You can use canned or fresh pineapple and she used bakery hot buns for the bread part! Butter, cream cheese, milk and cream and topped with ice cream make this simple bread pudding quite decadent. I am game to try it!

Next up are these recycled cereal box notebooks from creatively Beth! Such a darling homemade gift to give to friends. Who knew you could create something so cute from cereal boxes, embroidery thread a button and some craft paper. These mini notebooks would be a great gift mixed with the moss basket for Mother’s day!

Karins Kottage Highlights

I have been on a roll finding cute spring fashion pieces! Really inexpensive too! In case you missed my post about my new green jumpsuit you can read it here.

My new spring dress is my favorite and I even bought two! One with an all over print and the other is solid blue. (I will be posting about the blue dress shortly). These dresses are so comfortable and did not need any alterations.

This picture doesn’t even begin to show how amazing these trees are in front of our house. Plus they line the entire street too! Neighbors from other streets are texting me saying how amazing our street looks right now. I totally agree!
