I have been tablescaping for over 15 years now and my favorites are easy natural fall tablescape Ideas that anyone can do. Fall is the time to gather family all around you. Enjoy the cooler temps, the changing colors of the leaves. It is a cozy time of year. I love using warm colors like gold, orange, green mixed with black, brown or wine colors. Make sure to pop down to the bottom because I am participating in a fall tablescape hop with 16 other bloggers!

Sunflower themed tablescapes-

Sunflowers grow abundantly around here in late August and early September. I used some for this Sunflower tablescape in mason jars for each place setting for easy fun fall look.

Natural Fall Tablescape Ideas

I used gold goblets, dark green dinner plates, topped with a white square plate. On top of the white square plate I added my favorite fall leaf plate that I bought from Walmart years ago.

A simple white cloth napkin folded into thirds and a bright red apple on top made for a really pretty fall place setting. I even added in a sprig of thyme underneath the apple.

The centerpiece is a large footed glass candle holder. I filled it with faux fall leaves, apples, little dried corn cobs and paper pinwheels that I made.

Natural Fall Tablescape Ideas

You can see my entire outdoor fall tablescape in the backyard here.

Yellow and gold themed natural fall tablescape Ideas

I started with a yellow and white striped cotton throw. I brought in the natural look by clipping things from my yard. Different types of greenery, grasses and dried hydrangeas. By placing down the middle of the table it created a natural fall looking centerpiece.

The best part is that it didn’t cost me any money!

Next I added in round natural placemats, white dinner plates, gold flatware and gold colored goblets. Warmth and sparkle always makes for a pretty table in the fall. For a fun touch I picked some pears from our tree in the backyard and placed on one each plate for my guests.

Natural Fall Tablescape Ideas

Bringing in natural elements from where you live is a very easy way to create a natural fall tablecape. It would be fun to use smooth stones, twigs and leaves for another centerpiece idea. Look around to see what it around you and have fun creating an easy natural fall tablescape.

You can see more of my outdoor easy fall tablescape here.

Using leaves, fruits and Vegetables for natural fall tablescape idea

My daughter and I created this tablescape one year and it turned out fantastic. Madeline took leaves and hand wrote guests names on them with a gold paint pen. How smart is that!

Natural Fall Tablescape Ideas

For the napkin rings we used fresh thyme leaves to wrap around each napkin. Madeline lived in an apartment and these were things she found around the complex to use.

Natural Fall Tablescape Ideas

Mason jars were filled with springs of fresh thyme. Larger glass jars held dried peas to bring in more green color to the table. Madeline wrapped glass votives with yellow leaves using a rubber band.

The centerpiece had many natural elements to it. This glass bowl was filled with grapevines, apples and faux vegetables.

See the entire Welcome autumn tablescape here

Marigold themed tablescape-

Using marigolds from the yard to create a pretty centerpiece is so vibrant and pretty! I clipped a bunch of marigolds and placed them in white glasses. Then to really highlight them I place the glasses inside some silver votive candle holders and created a fun centerpiece.

I did not spend any money to create this centerpiece.

Natural Fall Tablescape Ideas

These bright colored marigolds are just happy little flowers especially when mixed with a few purple or blue flowers. I love that color combination for fall. Placing one of the white cups with flowers on top of a cake stand makes it stand out.

A pretty orange and white patterned napkin with a fun bauble napkin ring adds a little sparkle.

It’s funny in almost every one of these tablescapes I have used my gold goblets and white dinner plates. Just by changing up the centerpiece and napkins you get a totally different look. Tablescaping is like fashion….you just need to add in a few extras to make white dinner plates look amazing!

I hope you enjoyed this post about Natural fall tablescape ideas and that you will be able to use some of these ideas. Let me know if you do I would love to see your ideas!

One of the wonderful things about fall where I live is that it’s finally cool enough to enjoy alfresco dining. Your ideas to use natural elements while being surrounded by your garden or yard add immeasurably to the experience, and having those elements at no cost is surely a bonus! Thanks for the reminders — hope you have a happy fall!

Easy peasy and beautiful ideas, Karin! I love the colors of fall also. Things are looking pretty drab in our region due to a severe drought, and leaves are already falling. It’d be a cinch to grab leaves already like you’ve done and cover votives and write names as place cards. I love both. I love your alfresco table with the yellow and white throw with clippings and pears from your garden. I can just imagine the conversation and fun around the table that you & your family have.
Thanks so much for participating in the welcome fall hop. I hope your travels this fall leave you time to enjoy leisurely dinner, whether here or in Italy!

Thank you Rita for always hosting such a fun tablescape blog hop! I always find inspiration every time. So sad that things already look drab where you are 🙁 Yes grab some of your falling leaves and use them before they all die off. We are off to Italy in October once again and I hope to see some fall leaves there and again once I get back home. I hate missing any of it.

Autumn certainly brings with it an abundance of inspiration and natural elements that can elevate our tables, and you have really leaned into that, resulting in gorgeous casually elegant tables! I especially love the pops of purple amongst the marigolds! So, so pretty! Happy to be joining you on the hop today!
