Ralph Lauren meets Audrey Hepburn tablescape

This tablescape makes me think this is what dinner would be like if you combined
Ralph Lauren meets Audrey Hepburn….a little elegance and a little rustic….
Ele-Gustic!! My new word hahah
I was really going for the “Farm Chicks” look..you know those cute gals that have a cookbook, fun apparel and home decor?

Setting the Ralph Lauren meets Audrey Hepburn tablescape

I love this Robin’s egg blue color floral fabric (or maybe I should call it “Tiffany” Blue for Audrey) mixed with red and pink flowers. (Actually I roamed all over my ranch looking for the perfect posies to use) My dollar store grapevine wreaths worked perfectly as chargers and I tucked in some colorful greenery. After looking in all my craft boxes I happened to find these little red berries to tuck into the wreaths.

I did not have enough of the “Tiffany” blue salad plates to use so I mixed it up by using some of my old restaurant cast off luncheon plates that my mom gave me that I love!
old belts turned into napkin rings

Leather belt napkin rings

Have you noticed my napkin rings yet? Old Ralph would probably have a coronary if he sees these. I cut up thrift store leather belts and turned them into napkin rings!!!
So dang cute if I do say so myself 🙂
I only needed a short part of the leather belt with the buckle on it to make one napkin ring. I had all this left over leather so I cut it into small pieces and hot glued them into a circle and added some “Audrey” to it in the form of a button. My grandaughter who is 3 saw this at her placesetting and pulled (yanked) hers apart and decided it would be a nice choker necklace. Ella grabbed a thing of tape and had her Aunt Emily tape it together for a necklace. Creative girl hahaha

My pretty chandelier with all the pretties below.

Denim Silverware pockets

I used my denim silverware pocket holders to hold the napkins and slid the leather belt napkin rings over the top. Accessorizing girls! How fun is this! Ralph and Audrey would be all over this. I can see it now …on the tablescape runway….hahaha

More posies tucked into the wreaths

Layering Plates

Stacked plates…I love how this looks but the men in our family keep asking why I have to have all the plates? Silly men…it is for looks!
I believe I found this cute country floral fabric at Walmart! A link for something similar will be below.

At first I had light pink bowls on the table but it just didn’t pop for me…luckily I remembered I had these (super nice pottery barn cranberry bowls that cost a fortune) Garden Ridge .25 cents each bowls I bought when I lived in Texas!

Ralph Lauren meets Audrey Hepburn Centerpiece

Some pink and white fresh flowers from the grocery stores felt like something Audrey Hepburn would pick. They worked perfectly with my fabric choice. For the centerpiece I used tall skinny glasses and then popped them into some cowboy boots!
It really came together and looked darn cute.

Ele-Rustic! I think I need to use this new term often.

Just to get your mouth watering, here is a sneak peek of my mini peach pies I made for this dinner!

Just plain ol' cool table!! Love all the original things, especially the "napkin rings." I bet Ralph will come out with these soon, all because of your great idea!! I hope he pays you well for it! Great table! ~Zuni

This is overwhelmingly ele-rustic -just like you stated. That is the perfect name for it. Those red and white restaurant plates have to be my favorites. Love the belt idea. Now if Solo plasticware would come out with an ele-rustic line I would be in business!

Ralph Lauren and Audrey Hepburn…two of my all time favorites I love your table, and the napkin rings are superb! I can hardly wait for the mini peack pie recipe…I have several bushels of fresh/frozen peaches that I cut up and put in the freezer to take us into the winter. Thanks for inviting us for a peak.
