Ingredients

  • Daves killer bread 21 grains and seeds
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 TBSP milk or more depending on what you like
  • Butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 C Honey bunches of oats crumbled
  • Real Maple syrup
  • Sliced fruit I used strawberries, blueberries and bananas
  • Chobani Vanilla yogurt

Instructions

  • To make the crunchy French toast I started with 3 whole eggs, 3 Tbsp milk, 1 tsp cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
Using a whisk, whip up the ingredients.
On a small plate add the honey bunches of oats cereal and crunch it up a bit. Make sure the plate is big enough to be able to dip the soggy egg bread slices in it.
Dip each piece of bread in the egg mixture so it is nice and soggy.
Then dip the soggy bread into the crushed honey bunches of oats cereal.
Make sure to cover each side of bread with a coating of cereal.
Heat a pancake griddle to medium heat. Rub some butter on the griddle.
Cook on each side for about 3 minutes or until golden brown. The cereal turns golden in color cooking in the butter and it also becomes nice and crunchy.
After you cook the crunchy French toast, serve with sliced fruit and yogurt.
I used sliced strawberries, bananas and some blueberries.
Once you top the French toast with fruit and yogurt, drizzle over the top with real maple syrup.
