Hiking and campfire and food!

We celebrated Labor Day by going up into the mountains to enjoy the beauty of a perfect day and cook hot dogs around the campfire.

We brought along our daughter and a few of her friends 🙂
It was such a gorgeous day, blue skies as far as the eye could see, the trees are just about to start turning colors..I loved every minute!
We made a campfire and roasted some hot dogs
We topped them with grape tomatoes, green onions, pickle relish, ketchup and mustard
For dessert we fried pop n fresh biscuits in oil in a dutch oven until they were golden brown and then topped them with fruit, syrup and whipped cream
There is nothing better than spending time in the mountains!
Emily and I are cool hikers LOL
