Light and Bright Kitchen Nook

Would you like a little tour of my Light and Bright kitchen nook?
Well come on in….

The yellow paint on my walls changes colors throughout the day depending on how much light flows in here…this is probably the picture that is closest to the real look. It is called lemon chiffon from Kwal paints and I love it..it just makes me happy 🙂 Remember when we painted these thrift store table and chairs HERE

These wood frames were black but I am on a mission to white out everything! I wanted some fun Christmas prints so I made these using the Rhonna App….if you haven’t checked out this App you need to…it is amazing! I found the chevron background by googling blue chevron prints and saved it to my photos, added in the Rhonna artwork and printed them..easy peasy!

I found this white sliding glass piece of furniture at a furniture store in town a year or so ago and it is perfect for displaying some of my fun dishes both inside and on top. The mirror hanging above was dark brown but I recently painted it white…I love how it looks now all chippy and white.

I love this anthropologie knock off wreath I made it is so fluffy and purty!! I will have the tutorial on here this week.

Some delicious sugar cookies my daughter made..totally marches the color scheme.

This kitchen nook is the most used room in the house..always filled with family and friends around this big round table. You see my black shelving on the left? I think I need to paint it our white too…what do you think?

Take a peek at what my cute mom and stepdad made me for Christmas out of pallets! They rock in my book….this is one of my most favorite gifts..it can be used all year round depending on what I put in it.

I do indeed love all white furniture, and I'm envious of your beautiful little dining nook. The centerpiece your mom and step dad made for you is a keeper and you're right…you will get tons of use out of it. I can see how it would work in every season.

I think you should paint the shelves too.
