Spring Fireplace Mantel before and after

I have been not loving my fireplace mantle decor until my sweet daughter, Madeline and I painted out my dark clock white..it just made a huge difference see before picture. Then Madeline created this mantlescape using Costco flowers. LOOOVE IT!
Here is the before of my dark clock…drab drab drab…I love light and bright colors so it was really bothering me.
We painted it white and roughed it up a bit in certain places to get a worn beachy look. It actually is a bit too white..almost a blue white (you can’t really tell in the pics) I am planning on making it a little warmer. Don’t you love how she arranged these flowers.
We bought two bouquets..One bouquet of orange tulips and the other a large green and white floral bouquet and then she separated out the green and white into four…actually five different bouquets. The fifth bouquet we are using a centerpiece on my kitchen table (not shown) Is this a way to get more bang for your buck or what!!!
This small bouquet is so pretty and delicate.
I love all the greenery Costco uses in their bouquets…unique leaves, long skinny stems with some sort of fluff of green on top.
These tulips have got to be one of my all time favs!
My little love birds were able to get in on all the action too….just a little something extra to bring in that spring feeling.

I love the clock all white, especially with all the pretty flowers on the mantel. I adore tulips! I saw them at Costco and almost picked some up too…
